This BBQ spot is phenomenal – friendly service, tasty food (especially the Pork BBQ and Brunswick Stew) and the most perfectly sweetened tea.Visited on a Saturday afternoon for take out and the line was out the door!

This restaurant does not serve good food. I bought some ribs yesterday because I sometimes like to eat good old-fashioned ribs. I have tried several ribs in different restaurants. These ribs sold here are the worst of it all.These ribs are dry, salty, and tasteless. Unfortunately, they do not take credit cards, only cash. They have an Atm in the restaurant, but you have to spend an additional three dollars at the ATM. I tried calling to complain, but their phone mailbox was full. So I resorted to leaving a complaint here. I am angry and dissatisfied that I had wasted my time and money on this location.In this day and age, people work hard for their money. That is why it is imperative to consider what type of business or profession one wants to serve in the community. If you know you are tired of the profession or business, you provide to the public. Seriously consider resigning or get something else. People work hard for their money; They expect exemplary services. We are not asking for 100 percent; we are all human, and people must be mindful of how they treat others.

Do not bother! I don’t see how it has such great reviews. The smoked wings tasted like they were brined in pickle juice, doused in liquid smoke, and then oven baked. They were so salty I couldn’t even eat them. My lips were literally burning. The corn bread was extremely dry and the cole slaw is vinegar based with a bunch of sugar dumped on top.
Got to love a good old side of the road southern BBQ joint. Went for lunch. Half chicken combo was fantastic. Tenders was the lunch special. They were also fantastic. Probably the best tenders in the area. Sauces were great. Restaurant was clean and very well lit.This place is cash only. Make sure you're prepared for that. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but there's plenty of room if you're creative.
A local gem that has stood the test of time! I've never been to eat here and left a) still hungry or b) disappointed. Genuine Southern hospitality in a homey atmosphere, and definitely the best Brunswick stew around.
It was clear from the start this place does NOT welcome people of color! A couple enters right before us, yet our entry prompted them to announce they were SUDDENLY closed! Amerikkka it's finest, yet again!

Chicken seasoned great.Pork is bland.Wonderful people.Cash and local checks only.However they do have an atm inside that charges an extra 3 dollars and change.Don't expect a discount because you bought your debit card and used the atm. ?
