I was able to go to this place for lunch during work hours so no alcohol for me. It's located right next to a brewery in what looks to be a very happening atmosphere. I can imagine the scenery being a lot different at night. Overall a great place to go for good food and fun. The restaurant is very nice and clean and it's contact free. You order through a kiosk near the restaurants inside window and they text you when your food is ready. You have to try the burnt end baked beans.
We had a corporate event at the Bus Barn last evening. Sofia, the Chef, and the rest of the crew took great care of us. Sofia sat down with me and walked through the best options to feed our crew of 17 people. The food was on point and my entire group loved every bite! The service was also incredible. I highly recommend Hog Pit for any catering even or just to stop by and eat. The BBQ, appetizers, and sauces, are amazing!
Great BBQ food for on the go! Placed perfectly in a brewery so you can enjoy a beer while the food is being prepared! I enjoyed the two meat option (pulled pork and jalapeno sausage... Amazing!! Side of Mac and cheese with some slaw. Definitely worth a try if you love BBQ and you are in downtown Fayetteville.
The food is delicious. The service is slow and the laughable portions are worth about half of what you pay, if that. Get it together Hog Pit.
Nice BBQ place. Prices are fair. Atmosphere is fantastic.
Fun atmosphere with places for all ages to explore. Kiosk style ordering and you just grab a seat. The main dining area opens up to a bar and another sit down area, which is open to the outside. The snacks we ordered were just okay. Will come back to try the bbq.
Finding this place was a little tricky... But worth finding. The food was good and served hot and fresh. We had the bbq nachos half chicken and pulled chicken and smoked sausage. Everything had good flavor...I will say the baked beans were not my favorite and I will not reorder but the Mac n cheese was really good and creamy!!
The brisket sandwich was phenomenal, so good in fact it required no barbecue sauce. The mac and cheese was the best I have ever had, they could serve that at any 5 star restaurant. The kitchen sink salad was very original and very good. Hog Pit BBQ is a hidden gem and great find in Fayetteville that I highly recommend
Loved the light and crispy hushpuppies and the fried catfish was great. Enjoyed the banana pepper tartar sauce, ordered additional sauces of Alabama and hot sauce, glad I did. Definitely recommend the greens and Cuban sandwich as well. Great food, service, beer, and atmosphere, will certainly back.
The good...their fries were crisp and delicious. The half chicken, pulled pork ,mac & cheese and baked beans were tasty. Quick service for pick-up.The bad... their ribs are absolutely terrible and inedible. For almost $30 I could only eat a couple ribs off of my half rack. They are weirdly over cooked while under cooked. Definitely not fork tender...or even cut with a knife tender - granted it was with a plastic knife. Texture was very chewy and dry with a huge hunk of fat that hasn't been rendered much, if any. Hopefully with time they can figure out the right technique or find an experienced pit master to cook St. Louis style ribs. (I had to knock off a couple of stars bc this was my meal, so I'm more critical here because my meal ended up being fries and beans...)
