Ordered Shrimp Mei Fun, the shrimp was old and smelled. Cashier used racial slurs and told me “to get the f*** out.” The owner was extremely disrespectful and told me my business was not wanted, the cashier proceeded to say he didn’t respect “our kind” I’m African American, and I say this to the black folks in Fayetteville. Don’t take your money here. They don’t respect us.
I have never been so DISGUSTED in my entire life. Anyone with even an INKLING of knowledge about seafood prep and expiry knows that when it actually starts to SMELL fishy, that it is either A.) going bad or B.) expired. We simply asked for a refund in exchange for food that was clearly not fresh and were met with rudeness and defensiveness and a lack of accountability as well as being told we can go “eat somewhere else next time”. Despite the distastefulness of the owner herself, we remained respectful, only to find out that not only did they try to serve us food that was clearly expired but that they are also RACIST. There was a middle aged white man at the front desk who called us monkeys, said we have diseases and yelled expletives at us in telling us to “get the f*%k out”. I am appalled and EXTREMELY upset and angry. We’ve patronized this place for as long as we’ve lived in the area so to say I’m disappointed is a complete and utter understatement. With all the hate and division that already exists in this world, this type of behavior is completely UNACCEPTABLE! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!
The workers are rude!!!!!!! They called me a monkey!!!! They are RACISTS!!!!! The shrimp had a smell when I told them about it she said you ate some so you got to pay for it!!! when I confronted her about NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM She SAID YOU ALL ARE NASTY anyway so not having soap you should be used to?THEN THE POLICE WAS CALLED cause we were about to fight!!!??
Ordered Szechuan chicken and it was ready quickly.Tasted delicious along with the egg roll and fried chicken wing I got with the meal.

My daughter and I ordered from China Cafe for the first time based on the great reviews, and now I am thrilled to write my own. This gem of a restaurant is awesome. Ordering was easy via phone, customer service was excellent, food was ready for pick-up at specified time they gave me, and most of all the food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back - it's our new fave in Fayetteville!!!
