Was so excited for this but honestly the food was really disappointing. Zero flavor in the sushi rice and the fish quality was extremely subpar. They are charging way to much for such low quality ingredients. I really can’t stress how bad the fish was. When you are serving a raw fish you can not compromise on quality you taste everything. The only upside I can give is the staff was very friendly and positive.
Decided to finally try this spot on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. I’m big on cleanliness but they are brand new almost so everything was very clean. The menu was all over the place food wise. Service was decent, not too high, not too low. You won’t be disappointed. I think portioning the food would help me appreciate the collective flavors more but don’t shoot the messenger. Look, if you have a nice date on a Friday, go here and add some ice cream to impress them. I wasn’t impressed at all. Can’t knock the hustle though.
Very disappointed. I was so looking forward to this opening. I went in and the worker looked less than thrilled to be there. Didn't greet me either. I ordered a salmon, spicy crab, and tuna sushi burrito. The avocado/guac spread was VERY brown. I decided to not let that bother me. It wasn't until I went to pay that I was kind of shocked. $38 for my burrito and my partner's trio bowl. No drinks or anything else. I started eating and it just completely fell apart. The worst part was when I bit down and found a bone...very unacceptable for sushi.
The food was so good, and large portions! My friend and I tried a few things but Omg, the Sushi Donut was my favorite! I won't be sharing it in the future! Service was great too, very friendly employees!
What a fun (and absolutely delicious) twist on sushi and other Asian fare! I couldn't decide what to eat so I ended up ordering a little of everything! Sushi Burrito, Wonton Tacos, Sushi Donut & Spring Rolls.Everything was fresh and tasty and served quickly and the portions were very nicely sized for the price. They said they'll be offering loyalty rewards soon which is nice because I'll definitely be back often!
So happy this place is finally open. It’s like a chipotle concept. So many options to choose from you can’t go wrong. I can’t wait to keep coming back and trying other combinations. I’m very excited to try the sushi donut as I did not order it this visit. The pork dumplings and shrimp tempura were wonderful. The bowls were great I just think they needed more sauce to enjoy for the whole bowl. The service was great for a first day and the staff were super friendly and on top of it!
Have I got a treat for you! Roll on In, located in Evans Town Center, opens today. This definitely isn't your mama's sushi restaurant. Roll On In is famous for their burrito-sized sushi rolls. The Cali Sushi Burrito was over flowing with toppings. My personal favorites are split between the Sushi Donut and the Shaggy Dog Bowl. The Sushi Donut is fried white rice topped with crab mix, masago, avocado mash, spicy mayo and sweet soy sauce. The Shaggy Dog is a tempura shrimp and crab salad served over white rice, avocado, sweet corn, green onion, spicy mayo and sweet soy. Buzzed Bull Ice Cream is also located in the same building and makes a great after dinner dessert. Buzzed Bull offers dairy free and vegan ice cream to please all pallets. If you're in Evans for lunch today, be sure to give Roll On In a try.
Whelp...we got to try out the hype...I will say inside is nice & clean & in the same location is buzzed bull ice cream. So we ordered the sushi donut, chicken wontons,I ordered a volcano bowl but with noodles instead of fried rice & my friend got the trio bowl. The chicken wonton were delicious & filling & full of chicken & slaw...tasted really good. Even ordered a to go for my son.The sushi donut was ok. It's rice deep fried & topped with crab & avocado. It had a tiny bit of filling of cream cream inside. It would have been so much better if it was stuffed inside more & slightly thinner. Just my foodie criticism. The bowls were filled to the brim & delicious. I enjoyed my volcano bowl & the taste of the tuna was so fresh...absolutely delicious. Enough to feed 2 people out of the bowl. My friend had a trio bowl & the fried rice tasted really good. The service is really good & they are helpful in ordering.I'm looking forward to the advertisement of the seaweed tacos. Definitely worth a try & I would recommend this eatery.
Everything is great- the staff, food presentation, location, menu and being able to build-your-own meal. We will definitely be back!Pictured here...*Heaven Hibachi Bowl*Sushi burrito*Crab rangoon rolls*Sushi donut*Wonton tacos*Chicken nachos
Great experience! We decided to wait for dinner tonight and it was well worth it! The wonton nachos were delicious and the crab Rangoon’s were delightful. We all had bowls and enjoyed the ambiance and the eats. A great addition to our city, happy to have such a nice option. You might have to wait for food, but as with any new restaurant, this can be expected! Thanks to the staff for patience.
