I love this place. My friends and I will drive from Aiken/Jackson and skip every other place in between.I always get a filet bowl with mushrooms and a sushi roll of some sort. The sushi isn’t the star of the show but I always enjoy it and my boyfriend hates mushrooms… unless they’re Miyabi Jr mushrooms.Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait and once or twice I’ve made my way out to find the place unexpectedly closed but I love them too much to be mad about it
I actually enjoy this place more than the actual full sized Miyabi! Very easy to come inside quickly and get some delicious and comforting hibachi and teriyaki without having to wait on all the theatrics. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. Their teriyaki sauce is definitely my favorite out of all the local restaurants of the same nature. I’m not sure what they put in it (crack?!) but its delicious!
2022-01: I've been here many times, for lunch, dinner, and in between. I've never really had any issues here, at times, there has been a long wait time to receive food or the dining room was a bit messy, but each issue was during busy times and the staff was busy filling orders or they were working on cleaning the dining room, with no one standing around, so I wouldn't consider that a problem since everyone was working diligently to get things done.
I would have gave them five stars but it's hard to place an order over the phone. They don't always pick up. Other than that the food is delicious.
Great hot food. I am not crazy about rice,but will eat rice here.

Really good fresh made to order would definitely recommend. Great for a quick lunch. Recommend the fish and shrimp or the chicken teriyaki.
