It's been a while since I've been to this particular Chili's because previous experiences were lackluster, but I recently went to a Chili's in another town and the food was good so I decided to give our local one another try... I really wish I hadn't.To start with, they gave my daughter her kids menu (it's paper and they're SUPPOSED to be disposable) and when she opened it we quickly realized it had been used previously - it had coloring and writing on it and bits of food markings. We asked for another one and explained why and they brought a new one out but didn't bother apologizing or explaining why she was given a dirty, used one to begin with.Next, my husband ordered the Texas Cheese Fries as an appetizer. It came out completely overcooked (see photo). The cheese was rock hard and crispy, though they did sprinkle it with fresh green onions. As my meal, I ordered the original with beef Skillet Queso. The skillet came out with barely enough queso to cover the skillet, I couldn't even really "dip" my chips because I'd immediately hit the skillet. In the photo I posted, I scraped the queso back with a spoon to show how shallow it was served - the photo was taken before I even attempted to eat any. (See photo) It also tasted really bad, like something was wrong with it - I've ordered it recently at another location and it didn't taste like that, so I know it isn't just the recipe. My husband's mashed potatoes were served at a temp that felt cooler than room temperature. My daughter ordered the kids quesadilla and it came out completely inedible. Her tortilla was as crispy as the tortilla chips. The cheese inside was completely hard and overcooked. (See photo)My sons ordered the Seafood Alfredo & the Bacon Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both boys were happy with their meal, but when my middle son asked for a to-go box for his leftovers he was given a box that contained a long hair (seen in photo) so he decided he'd rather just leave the food.
Greeted promptly as we walked in by Arita, sat down immediately. Service was great and the bottomless chips were put to the test - they were amazing.Coke products fresh and tingly with every sip, not to mention they were ice cold.Food over all was great! Hats off to the staff and especially the cook for such great service.Highly recommend this Chili's!!!A++++ Service and the food was amazing!
Overall a terrible experience. The waiter was super overwhelmed, which was not his fault but definitely effected our experience. There were a few times where he would just stand there and stare at us without saying anything for a minute or two. Our appetizer came out with our main entree which is a pet peeve of mine personally. The food tasted like it was microwaved, sitting out, and thrown on a plate whenever someone orders it. A manager came over to help with the gift card that we had and during this process she selected the tip amount on her own. She didn’t ask, didn’t confirm, or give a heads up about doing that. She just did it. Which was the cherry on top of this terrible experience. The only Chili’s I will ever see again is when it appears on The Office.
Based on what I am reading, this particular Chili's is a problem. We ate there last night and the place is pretty run down and feels dirty. The silverware my wife received was in a paper pouch and found it dirty when she removed it from the paper pouch. She asked the waitress to exchange it and actually saw the waitress walk to the station where they prep silverware for tables, pull the silverware back out of the pouch and wipe it off with a napkin and bring it back. While my food was fine hers was not. She ordered a Southwest salad and the meal came to the table and frankly looked wilted and and mushy. She is not a picky eater. She began to eat it anyways and said it wasn't very good. My wife will not return food in a restaurant. She soldiered on and ate about a 1/4 of the meal. This morning I woke up to her vomiting in the bathroom. This is the second time we have eaten at this Chili's in Evans and based the other reviews, dates of the reviews and replies by management - they are only paying "lip service" not taking any actions to correct the problems. We have dined at this location once before and the last visit was adequate but certainly not good. We will not be dining at this location again.
If I could give no stars I would. Ordered the beef nachos to go and this is how I received them. I called the restaurant and all they could do was offer to send a voucher in the mail,, instead of a refund, they couldn’t remake them because they were already closed. I don’t understand how the cook even thought this was acceptable to serve to someone. Definitely will NEVER be eating here again!!!!
I’m not even sure what to say, but surely the cook had to be blind and no smell to serve this burger and think it was edible. Smelled burnt as can be when I pulled it out of my bag and to my surprise the worst burger I’ve seen in my 26 years of my life. So much for my dinner tonight. After looking at other complaints recently, I would just stick away from the burgers.
We enjoyed our meal at Chilis in Evans on February 12th, 2022, the food is always good. Moreso I want to thank the busser working on 2.12.22. I left a valuable item on the table that was under my napkin. The guy busing tables found it and turned it in to the bartender knowing that I would most likely be back for it. I'm so appreciative for our bus boy this evening. It's relieving to know that there are still honest people in the world! Thank you
You'd think for a big chain like Chili's, you'd have the same expectations regardless where you are when you visit. For this one, you'll have to recalibrate those expectations. Possibly the worst Chili's in the entire country.Ever bite into a hamburger just to taste (and feel) the orange cooking grease oozing out of it? Well, you will find that here. Needed lots of extra napkins just to mop up the grease on the plate. The soft drinks and the beer were flat. Chicken wings were grossly overcooked.I don't leave negative reviews after one or two bad experiences, but all three have been quite similar. This is an abomination of an otherwise great chain.
It was Old Timer Tuesday night, burger was really good and our server and bartender were very attentive and went above and beyond with the customers, refreshing experience eating out these days. They sincerely cared about providing great service.
S.O.S. This place needs some serious help. The franchise looks to be way understaffed, the staff seems like newly hired personnel and lacking training. My wife and I are big fans of Chili’s but tonight was the worst experience we have ever had. The place was probably at 1/2 capacity yet there was a 15-20 minute wait for sitting (this was a red flag but we ignored it). Since we dine at Chili’s quite often, as soon as we sat down we placed all of our orders. Unfortunately, it took about 90 minutes for the food to come out, and interestingly enough it was cold. What normally is 45 mins dining experience turn out to be a 2 hr plus affair.I can hear other costumers sitting near by complaining as well. Please turn this place around quickly, as I said, my wife and I are big fans.
