I love this place! Its a quaint little mexican restaurant that makes me feel very special everytime I go! The carnitas are delicious!
Service was great! Very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I got the Street Tacos, Barbacoa & Chorizo, they were awesome. The Salsa was very good too.
Salsa and chips were good. Service was great. Plenty to pick from on the menu including a good list in children’s section. The enchiladas were inconsistent in the sauces. Nachos were good as well as the rice and beans.
The closest thing to the Mexican food in Southern California (which I miss desperately) I’ve found on the east coast. Consistent food quality and service.Edit: Something changed and they’ll lose many customers. The last three times we visited we were overcharged in different ways by the overly-friendly girl with the bright colored hair. The last and final time we ate there, we got our bill and there was a “late lunch charge” for each of our entrees. I asked what it was for and she said it was added after 2:30 to lunch entree prices. It was exactly 2:30 when we got the bill. We ordered the food before 2:00. She took it off the bill but I won’t be back. These are the kind of shady things that mediocre restaurants in resort towns will do to visitors. I *WAS* a repeat customer who treated everyone with kindness and tipped well. I don’t care if the food is good, I won’t be back.
Honestly, this was not what I intended on having for lunch, but the restaurant I wanted was closed. Sometimes things happen for a good reason. I walked down to this restaurant and I was instantly intrigued by the tri-color burrito option! It was so flavorful and delicious. I will be back and I'll bring some friends with me!
Shrimp tacos were the bomb!!! I got the combo of 1 shrimp taco and chile relleno, all were delicious, but the one shrimp taco had me wishing I'd have picked only that. Super nice staff, nice, clean, beautiful decor. Everyone at my table loved their food.
The food was out-of-this-world delicious. We had the Street Tacos (pastor) and Quesadilla Grande. We also ordered their spinach queso - all excellent. I have severe stomach issues and have been unable to tolerate anything too greasy, highly processed, or heavy in starches including tortillas... as in terrible cramps after swallowing just one bite. But I was thrilled to discover i could not just tolerate but actually enjoyed their steak quesadilla without any bad aftermath to boot! After so many attempts I can only attribute this success to the fact their tortillas are handmade! I’m so happy to have found this little gem. Try it just once and this will be your new spot for Mexican in Evans.
Wonderful food! I haven’t been able to tolerate anything in a tortilla for a very long time- but was able to enjoy a steak quesadilla! We had Pastor Street Tacos and Quesadilla Grande with spinach queso - all delish. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely the new go to for Mexican around Evans!
I'm around the area temporarily for work and was trying to find a good Mexican restaurant. Had some bad experience at other places. This is the only place I will go. Food is authentic and delicious! Customer service is just as good. Would recommend to anyone.
2021-12: Came in on a Friday just as they were opening for lunch. The restaurant itself was clean , maintained well, and laid out nicely. Just the the right amount of tables in the dining area, as well as a small bar if you'd prefer. They offer a drive-thru, which I will definitely utilize in the future.The staff was polite and friendly. The pricing on the menu is a bit higher than what some are used to seeing, but the portions, quality, and taste make you understand the prices. The homemade salsa and chips were good. The salsa had a kick, more than what you'd typically get at a Mexican type restaurant around the area. We got the Street Tacos, trying a barbacoa, chorizo, and asada, as well as the Chili Verde. Everything was excellent! You can tell they use high quality ingredients and have a talent for making their food with a great overall balance of the ingredients within each item.Very glad I got to finally try this place, and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend others try for themselves!
