This is one of the best hibachi restaurants in the Lilburn/Duluth area! We decided to sit at a table instead of wait to eat in front of the hibachi grill, but it was still a great experience. Delicious food (& pretty big portions)!!! The robot that delivers some of the food is a fun bonus too ? Our waitress was super helpful & friendly. Will definitely be back.
Although there are a couple of closer Volcano Steak & Sushi restaurant, we drove more than an hour to this specific location in Duluth to celebrate Father's Day and we were so glad we did .. from the entrance to the lobby to the dining area which includes a large hibachi area, it was very bright and colorful featuring something that I've never seen in a restaurant before .. there is a robot by the front door to greet when you arrive and thanks you when you leave, a second robot near the sushi bar named Layla stands ready to bring your appetizers, sushi, and entrees .. our hibachi chef named "Ricky" provide awesome entertainment and kept us laughing while cooking a very tasty lunch .. the overall dining experience was the best that we've had since moving to Atlanta over 20 years ago .. will definitely make the trip again with the rest of our adult children and their significant others
Overall I was happy with the experience here. The decor was different I really liked it. When you go to one hibachi restaurant you almost have been to them all. Not to say all hibachi restaurants are bland but it's hard to standout when you get the same thing at each of them minus the decor. The decor made it a better choice for me the food here was good too. I can come back here to eat again.
The price is good. The atmosphere is nice. Customer service is average. But I think the kitchen needs to control the food quality better. We ordered the skewers. All of them tastes the same. While the oysters smells extremely bad. And the boiled fish comes with fish scale, which it is disgusting. Other than that, the rest of food is fine.
It was my first eating here and the atmosphere was amazing. The customer service hospitality was above and beyond. My server was very nice. The food was amazing it’s way better then Hibachi grill. The owners came to every table and greeted the customer including my table. I highly recommend this amazing establishment, and I will definitely become a regular. I left highly satisfied and happy. I can’t stop thinking about my great experience.
The food was very expensive for a hibachi dinner. The appearance, taste and quality were mediocre at best. I’ve had much better fried rice at a Chinese takeout restaurant. The atmosphere was good for small children with the lights and projected images on the floor. The robotic waitresses seemed to just be in the way as the servers were constantly having to move them. While the novelty of this place might be worth seeing once, the terrible food and lack luster service for the price makes this a NO for us. We will stick to Shogun if we want hibachi.
Very nice atmosphere. They have music playing, some cool decorations, lights, etc. The coolest thing they had was some robot servers that actually brought food to tables. They had hibachi style seating where they cook in front of you, bar seating, and regular restaurant style seating. I had sushi ? when I went there and it was delicious. Would definitely go back and try the hibachi also. ?
Great food! Strong drinks! Fun atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back! Also robots deliver your food sometimes! SO COOL!!!
Food and drinks were good you could actually taste the alchol
What a fun place! Traveling for work and decided to branch out for some sushi. We visited volcano on a Sunday night and the place was busy. Magically, we were sat right away. There was loud trendy music, giant tv screens, fish animations on the floor and fun little robots that deliver the food. Definitely more of an "dining experience". The food was very fresh, and came quickly. We ordered steamed dumplings, chicken hibachi and 2 sushi rolls and a beer. Our bill was surprisingly low considering how much food we got. $55 for everything. If you're visiting, this is definitely a fun place. There were tons of hibachi tables and people laughing. Sounded like everyone was having a fantastic time. Highly recommend the sushi! Can't wait to visit again next time I am in town. (I wish it would let me post a video of the robots, but it won't. You'll have to visit yourself!)
