We love the place and the food. It's a touch pricey for a bar and grill ambience. Apparently they had staffing issues while we were there because the service was slow, especially to get cocktails. I guess that's the story everywhere right now.

Dined on 8/8 before the Michael Buble concert at Gas South/Gwinnett arena. Made a reservation In early June. Upon arrival, we were seated outside. It was hot and humid!!! We were dressed for a show and it was so hot eatingâ¦. Our server was dripping wet with sweat. The temperature in the outside dining area was 86 degrees. There needs to be more than small fans in the outside dining area. It was very unpleasant to enjoy our dining experience. The food was excellent but sweating so much⦠ruined it. I asked the hostess how do we ensure inside seating in the future⦠it needs to be on the reservation. Truth is this location has limited inside space.
This was our second time at Uncle Jack's and the food and service were great. Even though we had a reservation the big downside was being sat outside on the enclosed patio with no air conditioning and only partially opened plastic curtains. The ceiling fans were on, but on an early evening in August the heat was a bit stifling. There were plenty of empty tables inside but we were told there were no tables available inside because "the reservations were coming in." We would have gone somewhere else but as this was dinner before a concert, there weren't many options left in the area. Everyone was booked!
boneless ribeye was very flavorful but a thin cut cauliflower side was delicious
Went here for a Sunday brunch and our Server John was great! He was extremely attentive and provided great service. Friends had the Omelet Oscar and I had the chicken and waffles; both were amazing. Highly recommend. Food, drinks, service, ambiance; everything was great and I'll be back!

Unfortunately the food quality didnât match the service. Our meals came out warm bordering cold, when we ordered coffee & desert the coffee was the same. When we asked to have the coffee warmed we were told the kitchen was shutting down and they couldnât do it. While this isnât what weâve experienced in previous visits weâre undecided if weâll go back. It seemed like you had your meal now itâs time to go.
Was the second time weâve been there and had a great time.
