Worst communication ever. The employees at this restaurant do not listen. I spent over thirty minutes on hold trying to cancel an order. I spoke to three different employees and one manager. None of them ever asked me what I needed to do. They just kept passing the phone around and talking over me. When I finally spoke to the manager she talked over me for about two minutes of our five minute conversation. Eventually, she conceded that they should have listened to me and my challenge could have been resolved sooner. She said they all assumed I wanted a refund. I never asked for a refund. I asked for my order to be cancelled. I said that when I called and was placed on hold for fifteen minutes. Communication is free and the employees at this restaurant need a course in effective communication. I'm available when you're ready, but I do charge a fee ?. Call me. ?
Spending the night in a nearby hotel. Ordered the loaded cheesy fry burger under cooked on the inside and hard and burnt on the outside. The Mac and cheese was hard the noodles were under cooked. My husband ordered the fish and chips,the fries were cold,the fish was hard and overcooked. It was supposed to to a to go order and he waited 20 minutes to be addressed. The total wait was about 40 minutes after placing order by phone.
At TGIF in Duluth hwy and Hurricane Shoals been sitting her now for 45 minutes finally got my drink because it was taking so long I asked for water. No it’s not crowded it was 4 tables filled everything else was empty. It took the waitress 15 minutes to come to the table while 5 waitress stood around talking. Finally ordered got the appetizer before the drink. When the drink arrived it was wrong so I waited 10 minutes for the new one. The waitress is new and it seems like she is taking care of all the tables. This is when you don’t want to revisit an establishment. And I am still waiting for my food 6:53
My family and I ate here today at lunch on our way back to SC, the host said they were on a 15 minute wait there was only 3 tables sitting down but we waited anyways. They had 2 servers. The male server who was wearing a tie dye shirt was extremely rude and loud. He told the host he was done and he would just go back home, then about 10 minutes later he broke plates and yelled “ He was good”. During all of this I’m thinking where is the manager? I don’t see how he didn’t get fired for the way he was acting and talking to the host and the other servers. I am very thankful that we had the lady server and not him! If we are ever back down this way we will definitely not stop again!
Normally, the food is on point, but this time ,the chicken was overcooked but edible, and so were the mashed potatoes. My favorite is Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp and is what I get every time. They need to do better and stY consistent.
Me and fiancé sat at the bar and ordered a drink while we waited for our to go order. Grilled chicken salad, chicken sandwich, and the simple salmon. Fifty-two minutes later, we finally received our food. Extremely hungry, got home, and tried to eat, but they forgot to put the dressing in the bag. Extremely disappointed. Who wants to eat a dry salad?
This Friday's used to be great, but they're currently struggling with staffing issues. The food is still really good and they're making sure everything comes out hot, but if you go, you'll need to pack your patience. They're pretty short staffed here so the service is slow and the servers make a lot of mistakes during the dinner rush. I'd still go back because I'm a Fridays lover, but if you go, you'll need to extend your server loads of grace.
Only giving a star because I have to in order to leave a review.... corporate needs to come in for some re-training...as a manager, I am appalled at the way this location is being ran. The restaurant was completely empty except a couple seated at the opposite side of the restaurant and a party of 4 finishing up next to us....the server went to that table 3 times while we sat ignored for 15 minutes watching as the manager and 3 other employees stood talking 10 feet from us the whole time. When I asked for the manager, he offered no apologies, just a smart a** attitude. The restaurant business has taken a hard hit during this pandemic mess so a lot of places have to take what they can get for employees and managers and at this restaurant, it shows.
I loved the food drinks and service. I ordered the pretzels and queso cheese for the appetizer, Cajun shrimp, and chicken pasta for the main course. For drinks, mango Hennessey lemonade and 2 Strawberry Hennessey lemonade were so good ? ? I loved my servers' attitude, and the service was great
The whiskey glazed wings were amazing. The only problem was the food was super slow. Took 45 minutes to get our orders and there were only a few other tables at the time.
