Very good Japanese, big city style eatery with big portions. My cucumber salad and tempura was big and delicious. Attentive staff and clean dining room.
This service was absolutely horrible. The waitress was really rude and gave attitude us when speaking. She would aggressively point at the menu when speaking and It seemed like she looked down on us. For a dish we ordered, we waited a long time and had to ask FOUR times for it. When they served us food, they immediately walk away which is sometimes inconvenient because we had things to ask like another spoon or water. Another thing I really didn’t appreciate was when my sister ordered a dish, and asked where it was, that same waitress I mentioned before said that we ordered a lot and didn’t think we would want it, so she wasn’t going to give it to us. We had to ask again for it. I appreciate the concern but not giving us what we wanted even if we ordered a lot isn’t necessary. We would pay either way so I would appreciate it if the waitress just let us order what we want without her interfering. This was the first time I’ve gone here and I will never come here again.
Had lunch here with my partner today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and portion sizes. I normally go for extravagant rolls and shy away from plain sushi since I've had negative experiences with it in the past. I got the sushi and sashimi lunch special and it was *amazing*. The portions were huge for the price, the cut on the fish was perfect, and it was the freshest sushi I've ever had. My partner got the chicken teriyaki lunch box and while he complained there wasn't enough chicken, he doesn't really eat veggies so I'm chalking that up to his own issues.I also love that despite serving a Japanese menu, you also get an arrangement of Korean side dishes. I lived in Korea for 2 years and this definitely brought me back! The waitstaff was friendly, and just remember if you need something they have little bells at the table (typical for Korean restaurants). I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.
This is the side dish for $180 sashimi entre. Almost same side dish as soonduboo jjigae which is about $15. Also as the previous reviews mentioned, the servers do not seem they're in a working mood. Just like many other Korean restaurants, the bill indicated recommended tip percentage starting 18%, 20%, 25% which pressures the customers even though the experience was unsatisfied. I will try to revisit sometime in the future and I hope they can take these matters sersiouly and improve.
Fresh fish and extremely reasonable price. Love the covid safety as well. I felt well taken care of and left very full.
Expensive and Excellent Fresh Sashimies....spend money and enjoy full to your tommy!
An incredibly welcoming and experienced staff. Be patient with the language barrier if one exists and use the assistance bell if you need anything (this is the norm). Private booths should be called ahead of time to be reserved and are recommended for large parties. A lot of folks throughout the restaurant are ordering these large specials so use your time wisely and chit chat away. You're not here for a quick dinner but for an engaging one.Fantastic food offering for the Sashimi Large Special. The two photos below were the primary focus points here. Soup and belt fish thereafter. Prior were an arrangement of Korean side dishes, a large tempura platter, steamed egg, two more plates of cooked fish, and the list goes on. I have already returned and will return once again!

Love the rawfish bowl (like poke bowl) but korean style (with gochujang bases sauce)!! It comes with a soup and it's definitely a favorite?
Came here last week. Ordered sushi bowl rice and ate. That night I wound up getting hives all over my body. The stew that came with the dish was not fresh. Next day I went to management and told the owner what had occurred and owner was insinuating that it could have been something I ate at another place. How rude for him to say that without a proper apology? Terrible experience from food to management. I will never go there again.
