Had friends tell us it wasn't worth going to. WRONG we have now been there several time and it keeps getting better. It is our go to steakhouse.

Maybe dine in is better but this food for takeout is horrendous especially for the price they charge. Dry, flavorless steak and French fries that taste very old. I really can’t finish the meal which sucks. I would return the food but I could only taste it once back at home. The biscuits were okay but just meat and bread with no sauce or dressing sounds better than it could ever taste.
I love my Babyback Ribs!!! They have the best Coffee Crusted 10oz. Filet!!! It is the bomb! The rest of family is in love with the Famous Steak & Biscuits… & they are super yummy!!!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I celebrated my birthday there and I was blown away. Not only the super delicious food, but the costumer service is over the top. They made us all feel tended to, and special. Excellent. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner, very subtle and cozy atmosphere. Love it!
Stoney River is simply amazing! We just went for my birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We ordered the Steak Rolls, a must-try, with a huge ribeye, a kale salad, and a delicious filet mignon. The smoked gouda mac and cheese along with the sweet potato casserole was delicious. If you haven’t been to Stoney River before, their complimentary bread with honey butter is amazing. The service was excellent and our server never failed to meet all of our needs. They even wrote me a birthday card signed by all of the staff; a delicious chocolate cake was provided as well! We’ll definitely be returning, and you won’t be disappointed if you go here!
Great place! I had a 6oz petite filet cooked exactly like I ordered. The whipped potatoes were amazing, but the star was the French Onion soup! I'm still thinking about it. Really pretty place and great service. Celebrated a birthday and the complimentary chocolate cake was delicious! Would definitely go back.
Daisy is the best bartender, absolutely the best! Food and drinks are some of the best in GA! All the steaks are aged and meat is cooked perfectly! I recommend this to anyone of any occasion, you will not be disappointed
The food is AMAZING! I can't even begin to explain how delicious this was! I can't even begin to explain how I want to go back again! ? We have craved their steak biscuit sandwiches since we left! Our steak was so tender and flavorful (both in the biscuit and our other order of steak that was associated with coffee in some way-recommended by server)! The sweet potato casserole was delicious and sweet and everything I couldn't even have dreamed of! We will be going back and bringing some more family with us! This place will not disappoint!
I am extremely disappointed of our waiter and the horrible service he provided. He was forgetful, did not follow thru with our request. They mixed up or food order and after providing him with a verbal negative feedback instead of speak with the manager, he continued to get it wrong. I do not recommend this location to any of my friends and family. What a wonderful establishment but if your are not customer service driven, it will cost you in the long run.The food is amazing but out experience was not to par. When we walked in, we ask our waiter to charge our bill separately since we was a party of 6 adults, 2 children and one infant and he fail to do so. Also, I asked him what red wine pairs well with the Cowboy ribeye and he didn't bring out the wine. We asked for a cheese cake for our father in law birthday and he brought us carrots cake. He forgot our dip sauce on our sandwich. He did not come often to check on us.I will not return to this location. It is extremely important to follow directions, especially when it comes to the temperature of a steak. My ribeye was well done instead of medium well. People need to understand when you are paying $$$ for a steak you have to make sure it is on point. I am from Miami and we have plenty of steakhouse restaurant yet the food quality and the customer experience must be at the same level.
So disappointed. Stony River previously was our family spot for special occasions and never disappointed. Last night we were met with sloppy service and lack luster food. We ordered the french onion soup and wedge salad to start. The cheese on the soup wasn't browned, the soup was luke warm and the flavors were very average. The wedge salad was good. Our entree was the filet trio. I must admit it was cooked well but only one of the sauces tastes creative and at the level of an expensive steak house.In regards to service. Our waiter was kind but for the price point we did not feel that we were serviced. No bread was offered and we had to ask. Water left not refilled. Our entree was dropped off by a food runner with no explanation of sauces and we were not asked to check if steaks cooked appropriately (in the past we were always told about the food while it was presented and offered to cut into the steak to ensure proper preparedness. At that time we were not offered a steak knife either.Overall for the price point there are many more restaurants in the area. Stony River has fallen to another average place to have a meal at an elevated price point. Sad to say I won't be back.
