I got the fried kim-mari "dog" (also known as the seaweed roll). It was very good! Its filled with glass noodles abd usually has a few veggies mini inside. I like it dipped in sugar. And it's vegetarian (it might be vegan but i have not confirmed that the dough doesn't have egg or dairy milk in it) for anyone who's looking for a vegetarian option.I also ordered the frozen sikhye (sweet rice drink). The flavor was nice and refreshing, however it was much too sweet.Customer service was just alright. They'll answer your questions, but they're not super friendly or anything memorable.As this is a food stall inside the Hmart, there is nowhere to sit down, but there are plenty of seats in the food court around the other side of the store.
I was shopping in h mart and was going to grab just one dog BUT I was told they have a $5 minimum.. but the total cost of one dog was $4.80 … like what??
Best customer service and everything was so delicious. It's reasonably priced and very tasty! I wish I lived closer so I could try more things on the menu.
I love how this place is located in Hmart! It’s my first time trying korean mozzarella corn dog etc. My boyfriend and I tried it out for the first time together and we love it that we quickly ordered more because of the long wait lol. Overall I highly recommend! I hope they do food delivery orders in the future.
First time trying some Korean hotdogs, and they were definitely just as good as I had thought. Maybe even better. The staff were very nice, and the guy working at the front was very kind and patient despite me taking a little bit to figure out what I wanted to get. Can’t wait to make the trip back again.
I bought 2 hot dogs and 2 orders of Rose Rice Cake for me and my wife. Hot dogs were so so- nothing special, just the average taste. But Rose Rice Cake was the worst rice cake my wife and I ever ate before. I don't even want to indicate what's good and bad about the rice cake soup; only thing I can say is they are not supposed to sell the rice cake to customers. We finished hot dogs but dumped the rice cake soup on the food disposal - it's not "eatable." Ofc, we won't go back to Ssong's Hotdog.
Finally found a legit korean corndog place. We got the rose ddeokbokki, Mozz sausage, regular ssong's hotdog, fishcake, and premium hotdog. They all seemed/tasted freshly cooked, even the ddeokbokki! All the hotdogs were good, but my fav was the premium. The Premium Hotdog was REALLY GOOD!!!!!. Loved the crunch and chewy breading and juicy sausage inside. Definitely going again to try more!
The batter is way too thick. Hotdog and cheese are small.
I got the potato-mozza-sausage hotdog and it was really good!
It used be good when they just opened. I even recommended to few people. But now Ddeokboki is so old and no taste! And so mushy!. Sausages are not hot enough. I called the store and they never answer the phone. I'm disappointed. I won't go back.
