Delicious, fresh sashimi and wonderful service!
Sam's used to be the GO-TO spot back in the day for a lot of the Korean community here but lately it seems like it's fallen in quality a lot. The 스끼다시 (appetizer dishes) weren't as tasty as before. Maybe we came on a bad day where there weren't as many ingredients available but we were disappointed. I personally thought the fish tasted fine but the rest of my dinner party, who eats 회/sashimi more regularly than I do, said that it didn't taste that fresh. Service was great though! Everyone is friendly and kind. Chef even came by a couple times himself to check up on us. But all in all, it was a pricey meal that none of us felt was worth every cent.
Another favorite around Duluth Area. I am not a big fan of any of their deep fried sushi so pls stick to the non fried ones. The porridge was really good and they gave me an extra when I asked cuz it was just so good. Makes me remember of my childhood. The fried rice is so perfectly made. Will def be back.
Very disappointed, Used to be a regular here and visited every time I was in Georgia but will never return to this restaurant.Rushed in to make it to lunch special at 2:50pm in which the server took away our lunch menu, stating their system shut down “some time” before 3pm and are unable to take the lunch order. Understood and proceeded to order the $80 special, in which the server once again denied saying it only serves one person and insisted that we needed to order at least the $130 special for two people. So we decided to order the all-day “$65 special for 2 people” in which the server once again denied saying “$80 course is a better deal for two people”.Forced to order the $80 special and In conclusion, hugely disappointed as sashimi was not fresh and had small portion. Brought low quality Edamame, steamed egg, mushroom, fish, pancake and noodle as an appetizer and a spicy whitefish soup with no whitefish. Feel like we’ve been ripped off and were hugely dissatisfied with the terrible costumer service today.
When I saw the review previously it was 3.9 and that is what I would give for this location. I drove 3 hours to eat here, hungry, but the taste was mediocre, nothing stand out. I wish it would have been more satisfying however it justified my palette.

I absolutely love eating here with my friends and family. I love the fact that you get your own private seating. The miso soup and chicken katsu is amazing ! I love getting the dynamite sushi roll. I 100% recommend this place.
Don’t ever order Sam’s special for two persons or lunch special for 2. The price is close to 2x but the sushi and tempura served is only for one person, not for two!!The server said she should have explained it before I had ordered.I won’t go there going forward.
Very fresh seafood, great side dish and good service.. their price is a bit on the high side, but reasonable considering the quality and type of food they serve..
I no longer live in Atlanta but I still make the regular drive with my family to dine here. The service is immaculate- there’s always a welcoming chef or employee to walk us to our table.My family in particular orders a sashimi meal for four. Though the meal consists of enough food to feed 7-8 people, the establishment was kind enough to offer us several side dishes that were complimentary to enjoy with our meal.Their wonderful service and energy thoroughly matches the expense and quality of food. I do not mind spending the money I have here as I know my expectations are always met.Please give Sam’s a try if you have not yet done so. Their prices are reasonable for the fresh seafood they offer as well as the thorough service you receive.
