Opaa is hands down our favorite Mediterranean place for lunch or dinner. And their catering service is superb. Mandy and her team has the best customer service and our recent catering order was executed perfectly. Mandy helped with choosing our menu so we got the best variety and plenty of food for our guests. Everything from the fresh humus to the ground Beef and chicken kebabs was delicious as always. It’s my go to place for catering for a crowd as they never disappoint.
Fabulous food! Great service! I will be a frequent diner at this restaurant! I love the Greek salad with grilled chicken. The gyro platter is wonderful. The baklava is great.
This is a must visit experience! This is the most flavorful Greek/ Persian cuisine. The portions are awesome! Service is 5 stars as well! Don't miss out!
WOW! Amazing food yet again!! This is now my second review since the food is just soooo good. When you have terrific Greek food and the establishment is spotless/clean, it is completely deserving a second review. They deserve it! You can tell they have so much pride in their food and business. Keep it up. The gyros are to die for. All other places around Johns Creek are terrible. You won't regret eating here.
This place is incredible. The food is so fresh and delicious. The Gyro wraps, Greek salad with variety of choices of meet are out of this world. Especially Greek salad with Shish kabob is mouthwatering, one of their food you’ll never forget. OMG, their Combo kabob with basmati saffron rice is heaven on a plate. They have the best Greek and Persian food. The place is very clean and has welcoming atmosphere. The service is fantastic every time. The owner comes and greets you to make sure you are enjoying your food and happy with the service. Highly recommend Opa for Persian and Greek dishes.
I am the general manager of a restaurant and am solely responsible for customer experience. I can be hard on my staff when they aren’t doing their best, and enforce consequences when needed. I have my bad days but I’d like to think for the most part I have the job in mind in ALL of it’s respects.But, the day I purposely and unnecessarily put one of my servers in the line of fire with an angry customer whom they have no power to help in the end, is the day I will quit the industry I have loved for 15 yrs.We ordered takeout, and had a bit of trouble with confirming what we wanted and the server seemed confused but did his best. When we ended up being charged almost $90(+tip) for food we didn’t order and an incorrect item we did order. I called and started explaining, the manager immediately began interrupting me, told me we ordered what we ordered, interrupted immediately again as I tried to explain the mixup, and told me to “talk to the server” who answered the phone most likely terrified and feeling bad if he had made a mistake. APPALLED does not begin to cover it. I apologized to this poor person for their manager being so extremely inappropriate and refusing to do THEIR job, and told them my friend would be back soon to speak with whoever in charge.Mistakes happen. Mixups happen. You listen to your customer. You figure out what happened. You make it right and you move on.I demanded nothing but was frustrated at SO much extra ($25) money spent, and expected a concerned, customer service oriented person to resolve the situation and that would be that.Truly cannot say I have ever been more upset by seeing something wild in THIS industry, and cannot believe that they have 5 stars if that is the person in charge of customer service.
The guys working there were very nice, and the owner was even there, and talked to us about everything from food to Persian history. Felt like eating with old friends. And the food was delicious, succulent, and filling. I can't recommend enough. Will definitely be back.
The place was good UNTIL they messed up Thanksgiving Dinner. Called 2 days before Thanksgiving and placed my order. I was told to go pick day before Thanksgiving at 8pm, which I did, only to find they were closed and would not pick up my calls!!! This was very unprofessional.I will never go back there again. They should have called me if there was any change. They didn't bother, and to date they have never called to apologize. Thank God for choices. Moving on.
Holy freshness, Batman. This place is insanely delicious. Everything was very fresh and obviously came out as soon as it was ready. We’ve had dry gyro wraps in the past at other restaurants but this one was on point. Do yourself a favor and come try all their food!
What a gem! Had the falafel chicken gyro. Everything was fresh, crunchy, and oh so flavorful. My friends had the Greek gyro salad and couldn't finish their portions. If you're in the Duluth area, you owe it to yourself too swing by for authentic Greek food. We'll be back for sure.
