I ate spicy sundae soup. It was delicious. Service is okay.
Food is lot better than when I went there for first time.Price got little bit more expensive which are very common currently through out the restaurant.If you are interested in Korean style "gukbab", I think this is one of the better place in Atlanta.
I love this restaurants in Los Angeles & Atlanta. After I had some menu, I felt they manage excellent quality. Side dish and main dish are so good.
If you don’t care about bad service attitude, sure go head. 순대국 is better after bad review with Korean social circle. (Prior review was too expensive for the soup and like 2 to 3 piece of 순대). I went with my friend yesterday food was better but serving is horrible. Typical Korean style. Large group of people cooking meat and drinks then like us ordering simple meals.(trust me, it's not cheap, 3 soups and 1 large 순대, that's over $100. Why typical Korean?? Alcohol is much profitable, etc.I took my parents today because food is good.We went and no one, trust me, no one even other to say hi or provide us the table even though there is plenty.One lady looked at us and didn't even bother to say anything. Don't give us hiring excuse. There weren't even that many people. How do I know? We been there for 10min. Looking at other tables.It is ridiculous.we don't mind waiting even said hold on please. Please ignoring customers! I can't and will not bring any one to this restaurant. Trust me, I will write this in Korean and post it on Korean social circle website.
We had their spicy soondae guk, spicy pork belly soup, and a large portion of soondae.Their spicy soondae guk had a lot of toppings inside, and the spiciness wasn’t too spicy.I really enjoyed their spicy pork soup, I revisited the next day to have it once more.Their soondae is also very nice, not the cheap soondae with only noodles inside, but more of a refined traditional soondae. A lot of meat, vegis, etc.We gave 4 stars because the service was slow.
I could be here yesterday. Soondae is one of my favorite and so glad to have a restaurant who serves the authentic soondae, in town. There are other restaurants who is serving soondae, but no restaurants has the quality one. Honestly, I can't understand why the rating is so low. I would pay a little higher price willingly, if I can have better soondae like here.
Had the spicy dwaejigukbap and stir fried soondae! So good I almost started crying. They were super nice and told us we were ordering too much but since we were visiting from Seattle where they don’t sell this stuff we were like it’s okay lol. People who rated low all complained about price and personally I don’t think you should ever complain about price. This is what it costs them to make a profit if you don’t like that move on! My mom owns a restaurant so I know how much hard work it is. I’ll be back next time we come to visit :) I want to try everything on the menu!!!
The food was great but the price for serving size was on the steep end.We had 2 portioms of pork belly and 2 portions of intestines (대창). The cut of the pork belly was absolutely delicious, it paired very well with the pickled side dished (반찬). The intestine was good as well, we usualy like it very crispy, but this one was very fatty (but one of the worker did say the flavor of intestines come from the fat) so we just enjoyed it.Regarding service, it's a hit or miss. Some of the workers are very nice. However, some can be very cold. Sometimes we like to flip the meat ourselves, we know what we're doing. When the meat was getting too crispy, we flipped the meant and out our server came and scolded at us and took the tongs away from us.

I just read bunch of ugly reviews and decided to give it try. I didn't find any problem at all. In fact the food was excellent. Banchan was good also. Time it took the food to come out was reasonable. Price is as expected. I feel Atlanta Korean have either have low moral to give such rating to new resturant. Ignore these low life losers who put 1 star review. I highly recommend this place and I would be coming again soon.
