Recent date night with wife and made reservations. Arrived little early and was greeted and seated quickly. We sat in a small seating area and the restaurant was busy. Table for two back corner. There is a wall patch started, that needs to be completed right at table level. Not the best initial visual experience. Immediate service, felt like newly hired. Came back to the table a few times to confirm the order we placed for drinks. All good, understanding staffing,& experience are still a challenge for the service industry. The kitchen was on point. Crab App was delish. Enjoyed the Shrimp Tacos. Salmon for dinner. We would have had another drink but were not asked or attended before dinner was served. Overall food was tasty and the service like most places currently is a work in progress. Everyones hustling for sure to make it happen. Thanks to the staff. Local on North is on our regular date night rotation. Fun to walk around before or after dinner in the downtown Duluth area. Highly Recommend.

The food was good. Fries served with guestâs burger could have been hotter and my salmon was a bit over-cooked. Our server was great! The music being paying at lunch was loud pop rock and didnât really fit the vibe of the restaurant.
Honestly, the food was pretty meh which didn't really match with the price. Felt like it was missing seasoning on everything. Best thing was the Bang Bang Shrimp. The steak had zero seasoning on it, if it weren't for the chimichurri sauce it came with, we would have sent it back. Paella was bland. Again if it weren't for the glaze on the salmon it would have been bland too. Was a long meal for a Monday night, about an hour and a half, which could have been due to the paella. We had gotten really strong recs for this place, that all the food was outstanding and we were disappointed.
Great food, cool little place. At first the service was excellent. Towards the end of the meal, service became slow and with all of our dirty dishes stacked up on the table, they brought dessert out without removing them, it was a party of 6. We eventually just moved the dirty dishes ourselves. Probably just a one-off, and we will return because the food was so good.
Birthday. A little bit pricey. No complementary cookie or cake for the birthday person . Food was very good however.
Came for brunch on Father's Day and everything was extra delicious. The drinks and desserts were super tasty too and service was great. We will be back!

We ate here for Father's Day and it was the best brunch we've had in recent history. The service was excellent and the food was very good. They were able to accommodate our children's food requests and even treated them to shirley temples - definite crowd pleasers! We will be back and whole heartedly recommend Local on Main!
Great menu options. We went for lunch but definitely go back for dinner.
