(Heads up this a sit down eat in review)The Delivery:Working late one day me and a group of co-workers decided to grab some food at a local ramen bar in Duluth. Seeing as some places were closed due to running out of food earlier in the day, we decided to give Jinya Ramen Bar a shot. Thankfully around 8pm the place wasn't very packed nor was it ready to close anytime soon. Walking in we were immediately greeted by a server and escorted to our table in which were led to the back of the restaurant which contained booths and a few separate tables. After being seated a server approached us and asked for our drinks as well as our order. They were wearing a mask the entire time which is always a bonus at any restaurant, and they were super polite too. The place wasn’t packed or too noisy, a very chill vibe and honestly perfect for a date because the tables are separate enough to have a private convo. The Food:For context I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Ramen w/ Seasoned Egg as a topping. The food was delivered in a stone bowl which was very aesthetically appealing. The chop sticks were disposable and wood which is just fine due to at the time events (covid and all). The ramen I ordered looked exactly what was portrayed on the menu which is once again always a plus. The Taste:(Shrimp Wonton Ramen) Ima jump straight to the point about this ramen, it tasted like pack ramen you would get from a gas station for about .99 Cents. Over salted and bland is the best descriptor for this bowl of ramen. Trust me as a college student when I say I know what overpriced noodles taste like.... I know. Besides the noodles, and the highly salted broth which ended up giving me a headache as I lost my appetite to eat it, the wonton on the other hand was pretty good. So good honestly, I wanted to ask for more wontons but sadly, losing my appetite from all the salt really put a damper on the meal. Mind you I don’t have any issues with high blood pressure or salt intake issues that I know of.The Conclusion:The place was decent, but def overhyped. Being in the Duluth area there are plenty of other ramen bars to experience with better tasting ramen. As for everything else, ide say it was spot on. That being the service, time for food to get to our table, aesthetics and the waiters/waitresses wearing masks just in case so they don’t inconvenience the customers.Covid Safe?Def approved, waiters wore masks, and tables were decently spaced apart.10/10 on that front.TL:DR(Pros) Aesthetically pleasing place, Fast seating, Great service, Nicely present food(Cons) Bit expensive, Over Hyped, Tooooo salty

Very authentic and tasty!I loved the creamy tempura shrimp and the pork goyzu as appetizers! We had a group of 13 and they have an amazing table outside that fit us all - and had room for more.A beautiful day and delicious food!

This was my first time and I was genuinely impressed, the staff BOH and FOH did an amazing job. A staff member from the kitchen personally visited every table and asked if anyone would like anything else before they closed the kitchen. Our waitress Rachel was genuinely friendly and attentive. Food was overall delicious! The only recommendation I would make is to serve the chicken in smaller pieces and would also suggest a Kewpie mayo as condiment. Highly recommended ! I will definitely comeback.

I was so excited to finally come out to try this location. I’ve been to the Sandy Springs and Buford locations, but it’s great to see a spot closer to home. As per usual, we had to try a few apps and I got to try the Creamy Shrimp Tempura which was like Bang Bang Shrimp. Of course a cocktail is a must so as an avid fan of Matcha, this drink was more like a sweet martini than matcha filled but it was quite creamy. We got to try one of the specials, Tokyo Spice, and it was tasty and spicy. All in all, this is my first time but certainly not my last time coming here. If you’re looking for a consistently good menu and great service, you should stop by !

I was very pleased with this food here the service was great as well. No 45 to an hour or more wait time like at the Mall of Georgia location. If you have not had ramen before this restaurant is a great place to try it for the first time.

JINYA Ramen Bar - DuluthNeat little place. Tables were so close to each other that I felt uncomfortable. We ordered lot of appetizers. First we ordered Takoyaki (8/10). It was rich a creamy portion was good . Second we ordered impossible Gyoza (9/10) soo good .Spicy shrimp tempura was great but was not spicy as all (9/10). Lastly I ordered salmon poke taco that thing is really mini. It's like one bite . But boy it was good .And finally dinner we ordered jinya tonkotso black(pork ramen/noodle), it was just ok .Last the dessert it was very bad LoL . Mochi love cream . That alone made me not want to go back to that place again . Ohh we ordered some hot Saki and lychee martini . It was good .And Service was good as well.

Great service and delicious food. I did the Premium Tonkotsu Red. Spicier than expected but good spice. Also did two small plates which came with six of each. Spicy cream shrimp tempura (not spicy) and pork goyza. Overall great experience, next time I'm not doing red sauce. Although I love spicy, it was more than anticipated. For 6 ppl 20% gratuity was added. Each plate is about $15 appetizers run about $5-7. Two thumbs up!

Awesome place to get ramen. If you been to other locations it is the same. Except this place you don’t have to wait to get seated at least in the first week of opening. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I recommend checking this restaurant if you are carving some ramen.

I hade the Karaage Chicken Ramen. The broth was rich and savory. I will try the vegan broth next time. The small plates were also delish, we had edamame, shrimp tempura, karaage chicken.Atmosphere is upbeat like the Japanese restaurants in SoCal.My only suggestion is to lower the speaker volume for the back dining room away from the bar, as it is a tad too loud for family with kids or to have more intimate conversations

Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and food was prepared in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable compared to other ramen restaurants in the area. They had a nice selection of appetizers and small plates. My kids loved it. Definitely will be coming back, and I love that they're in Duluth. Love the wall art.
