Unfortunately I did not have a great experience. My expectations were diminished when the table was sticky, a huge black fly was flying around. Despite this, I cleaned the table off with my own wipes, the service was a little slow, I was given my coffee absent silverware, the fresh fruit had some crud on it which looked like same spoon maybe used for grits, the eggs were so so, and the best part of my service was the toast. I left and saw other table had fresh fruit so maybe it was my turn to get the not so fresh fruit, but when I hit into the turkey sausage and saw it tasted rancid, and not so fresh I knew I’d been better off going to the nearby Waffle House which I heard was great. Hope you all have a better experience. The booths are a little old and some worn and torn. I saw an older couple that had been waiting a little longer than me. Usually elders are on a schedule so be mindful of this when servicing them. My server was trying to keep up, some of the other workers double working one table following each other could be used to service those waiting.I still tipped the server a small tip because I know how important this is. Management should be mindful of the current reviews. Great location.
I love the food and place. They are short stuffed therefore things might not be perfect. However out all in all experience it was great. We moved from Nashville and we found our spot for breakfast. We used to one located in Nashville. I'm glad we found it here too. Fair price we spent $100 for 5 people.
2nd time in a row I've had a poor experience. Service was poor. attention to detail in ordering, poor. Can't really mess up breakfast food so the food was okay, Just cold. May need to skip this place for the various brunch serving businesses in the area in the future.
Received an Uber eats delivery from this establishment that was unacceptable. Our order consist of two of the two cake feasts and a cinnamon roll. We did not received any pancakes (this was said to be Ubers mistake) and the portion of the eggs, potatoes, and bacon was unsatisfactory compared to the cost. Most shocking was the cinnamon roll, so burned and hard that it took two people to try to break it in half for this photo. When calling the restaurant our concerns were escalated to Steve, the manager. Steve lacks customer service skills and was dismissive to the issues and concerns around food quality. Steve never apologized for the mistake but rather told us to “take it up with Uber” and disconnected the line. I do not recommend you spend time or money at this establishment. The manager Steve helped confirm that.
We come here ever so often. we went this past Saturday for breakfast as a family of 4.
Waited 10 mins for someone to greet Mr and seat me, restaurant was NOT busy. Waited another 10 mins before the person who sat Mr said "have you been waited on?" Which I said no. Then I ordered and was never brought my drinks, I had to grab another waiter to bring me my drinks. Food was cold when I received it and portions were small for price charged. Added 98 cents to meal for a small piece of cheese in the scrambled eggs which were cold. They were quick to get me my bill tho. Will never eat here again!!
We come here ever so often. we went this past Saturday for breakfast as a family of 4. They were quite busy and a manager came over to talk to us and was asking how everything was. At the end of our meal we asked our server if they did military discounts. she said she wasn't sure, the same manager came over and was like of course we do. I am not sure the policy on this but we appreciate anyone and any company that takes the time to show their appreciation for our armed forces. I unfortunately did not get this managers name but it really meant a lot to us and will ensure we will keep patronizing your establishment!!
Monique our server was so sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed. Would most definitely recommend this place. The food was AMAZING but the service was even better. 10/10 for me
Today was my time trying J Christophers and I was very much disappointed in the food. The person on the phone who took my order was really kind. I had ordered an omelette, a big order of French toast and an entree of steak and eggs. The omelette that I ordered originally had chicken but I had asked if I could get it substituted with bacon instead, which they stated that was fine. When I received my food after getting home, I realized that my omelette had huge chunks of chicken instead of the bacon like I had asked. The omelette and the chicken that was in the omelette was bland. No seasoning whatsoever. My husband had French toast and he said they were horrible. Did not even bother eating them. I spent almost $40 and ended up throwing away everything besides the steak and eggs.
Walked in today 1/30/2022 with my family around 12pm for the first time to try a new place and I couldn't even stay long enough to get our food. Strike 1 was walking in and seeing around 10 high school kids scrambling around yelling and screaming at each other with absolutely no adult supervision. Strike 2 was the filthy table we were given that I had to ask for a rag to clean off the dried egg yoke and sticky whatever that was left behind from previous customers. Strike 3 was the disgusting coffee, ice tea and apple juice we ordered. My 6 year old said yuck ? about her juice. We decided to leave at that moment while listening to the loud argument in the kitchen from all the High school kids as I watched the chef himself walk food out to a table. It didn't sit well with me that not a single employee or kitchen staff had a mask, any kind of hair coverings or gloves while cooking and handling the food. Never going back. I'm good with Duluth Diner
