Anyone who remembers the ORIGINAL restaurant named LITTLE SZECHUAN on the northern stretch of Buford Highway with Chef Kong will know how Szechuan flavors meld together to create a unique culinary experience. Anyone remember the mind-bending shrimp egg fu yung??? But after Mr. Kong moved south of North Druid Hills Rd, everything changed. He finally sold, and the place went to the dogs. Now closed permanently.But now try HUMBLE HOUSE, with what I believe is the BEST and most original Szechuan cuisine in metro Atlanta. Period. The problem that I have is that I want EVERYTHING on the MENU.MUST HAVE: Eggplant in spicy garlic sauce, Spicy Fried Chicken with pepper & onions, stir fry green beans, kung pao chicken. That works out to about $44 for a couple, with enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.Anybody who does not like this food simply has a problem with the location or the girls who work the counter. Folks, it's ALL ABOUT THE FOOD.Next time, I am determined to try MAPO TOFU and also go for the BRAISED PORK BELLY. Thank goodness this place is so far away from downtown Decatur - otherwise I would eat there every single day!!!
Pricey for a food court location... shy of $12 for broccoli & beef. Looks like price gouging to me .
Good food and good price! Inside of Great Walls market's food court so don't have to pay tips (self service)!
Humble House is too good! I’m glad they’re located in GW Supermarket. I come here every Sunday, it’s real authentic Chinese food!
