Better than the much more pricey rexall drug! In my opinion Family Restaurant is far better than rexall drug next door. It is also much more affordable! Would highly recommend. The workers here are also very kind, which is kind of rare nowadays. Best Fried Egg i like mine over easy with white on the bottom and not charred like they are everywhere else, except for here! Good gravy biscuit as well, Sweet tea is excellent.
The lack of ambiance is more than made up by the friendly "make you feel at home" staff and home cooked food. The waitress rejected my eggs saying they were not cooked the way I ordered them. My wife's sausage and cheese omelette was stuffed with tasty sausage (she couldn't eat it all so I ate what was left). They do use disposable table wear. I talked to the owner for several minutes after I asked about the lunch menu of meat and 2 or 3 as well as several burger and other choices. He said that all food is made from scratch and pointed to the potato salad and said they boil the potatoes and make the salad and don't buy prepared items to serve. This was my first time to stop in although I've driven by it a multitude of times ... but we'll be back for another breakfast and try the lunch. They do close at 2pm.
Excellent food very friendly staff. A good downhome feeling. If you like southern sweet tea then really this is the place to go. Food is good and hot. Food temperature is hotter than so many places I've been before. It was busy here but the waitresses had no problem taking good care of me and my guest without having to wait for anything at all.

Staff is friendly and the food is good. It feels more like a small town restaurant where the staff knows the customers by name unlike the typical corporate chain. My family has eaten here a few times and we feel like they know us and treat us well.
Good food and service. Went there for breakfast. I liked the Biscuit chicken tender that my husband ordered. The Biscuit wasn't dry at all. My country fried chicken was good too. The home fries was good, in short everything was good. They have a lunch bar that looks so appetizing. Not great ambiance but the food makes up for everything. I like supporting local businesses than your regular restaurant chain. It has a homey feeling.

I went with mother-in-law after church service. I picked the restaurant based on the google review. A long story short, I definitely will go back again and again. Affordable prices, fast served, home-made quality and the best of all is very friendly people.

First off, the biscuits are amazing. Not your regular restaurant or fast food biscuit. These are home made, and made with alot of love. The breakfast is good, but I'm in love with the biscuits.
