The best thing about this place was that sakerita I had. I found this place scrolling through yelp a while ago so I was so excited to try the empanadas. Honestly, I should’ve known better. You HAVE to go with your gut feeling in some situations ?. The place smelled burnt before we even walked up the stairs so I should’ve known right then. I think they had their oven on too high because the outside was crispy but some of the inside was doughy. The flavor of the meat was subpar as well. It lacked in taste severely. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, who knows. The best one with the most flavor and tender meat was the pork empanada. I tried pulled pork, goulash, beef, and bulgogi. I was so disappointed in the bulgogi one. I love Korean food so I was excited to taste that one but it was tough and the flavor was not bulgogi at all. Although I was dissatisfied with the empanadas, I’d still go back for a drink or bubble tea. Also, the picture of the empanadas are very misleading ?. One of the main reasons I was excited to come was because I thought they were huge but they’re about the size of your palm or hand.

We brought our family from out of town and ordered a lot of food. We also got boba and it turned out not to be good at all. We politely told the owner we didn’t like our boba drink. We asked for an exchange and she rudely declined. Not to mention, instead of giving us new drinks, she gave us extra boba and Told us to add it on top of our existing drink. She forgot that we said that we didn’t like “the drink” meaning the boba and the drink itself. She then gave us one new drink although she had to throughout the entire container. She also gave us a huge attitude and made us super uncomfortable.

Empanadas were so good. The bubble tea was too sweet for me. Friendly staff. Good view from the balcony. Friendly staff.

Great selection of empanadas, salty and sweet selections. I met Benny the owner and he’s such a nice guy! He came and talked to the table and just clicked!

This place has always been “alright”. The empanadas are not very authentic, there seems to always be construction or renovations going on in the seating area and the service can be better. But recently they significantly reduced the size of the empanadas. What used to be a single empanada (really the size of two) they reduced to a lot smaller and for the same price. It’s ridiculous how they’re still in business. Definitely won’t be coming back for over priced mediocre empanadas.

The empanadas are good. However, my only complaint is that they recently made them a “new size” this description was added to the Uber eats app not too long ago. The new size is A LOT smaller than they used to be but you are still paying the same price.I get inflation has caused the price of food to go up. But I can’t pay over $4 for an empanada that’s so small. They used to be a very good size and worth the price. I honestly rather spend a little extra maybe 50 cents more per empanada with the original size than to pay the same price for something significantly smaller. If it wasn’t for the change in size I would give them 5 starts. But because of this I can’t really go back there. It’s too expensive for what you get and not worth the price.

I was there and loved the ambiance. Perfect for a meeting or to just chill. Loved the menu and the extras. AND, the coffee was great !! I live far, but I am coming back.

Best vantage point in downtown Duluth. Wrap around balcony. I had the pear empanada with a yummy latte.

tried multiple empanadas, all were really good... I only wish they offered plates. The banana and nutella is a MUST!!!!

Check the Beef Bulgogi Empanada it seems to be the best so far. Caramel Boba with Almond milk was good. We tried this food on 07/28/2021. They are closed on Monday and Tuesday.I believe If you do stop by after reading this review you would be supporting local business to keep the light on. Support to share a great meal in town.
