Terrible experience! Place smelled like a dirty bathroom. Same smell I remembered from last visit. Ice cream not good. Place had filthy windows and you cannot sit inside. Woman did not clean marble in between creations- a metal tool cleans? Without even mentioning this to my daughter, afterwards she said that her cookie dough tasted like tart “cheesecake”. They were out of waffle cones. What? It is Friday, the start of a weekend. NEVER again! There are too many other choices out there. Be picky when you dump hard earned money on a family experience these days. 1 reg. Shake, two paper cup “creations” = a $25 joke. No value whatsoever. Lesson: if an ice cream shop does not hit me in the face with a yummy waffle smell- with kids kicking and crying, this mom will leave.
This store is absolutely gross. The whole place smells strongly of urine. Everything was dirty behind the counter and the two employees I spoke with obviously didn't care about anything. I'm not even sure they even realize how bad things are. This place is an absolute dumpster fire, and I hate having to say that because I know this is someone's store and livelihood. However, that owner needs to shut the store down for a couple weeks, have the plumbing / HVAC system worked on, do a complete deep cleaning, and hire a new manager and employees who actually care about their job. This is by far the worst place I have ever taken the kids to get ice cream and that is incredibly sad.
I love cold stone ice cream but the girl in this store is so disrespectful and carries very very bad attitude. She made wrong ice cream several times. Without knowing why, she became impatient with customers. She told me that I’m the 200th customer today and here is a gift to me - a plastic spoon for her great service????!!! That is mean and disrespectful.
I am very concerned over the store’s condition . There appears to be a ongoing situation with plumbing . The whole store smells of urine. If it were not for the young woman who provided excellent customer service I would have just walked out . I believe her name was Giana. I told her she needs to speak with the owner about correcting the situation . I will not be back.
Super friendly staff. They did a great job of listening to my requests and answering my questions about the cost and what I'm allowed to get mixed in. The ice-cream had plenty of what I asked for and it was quick service. Really good ice-cream. I will be visiting again. Miss Nikita has impressed since the moment we got here. 10/10
The short hair girl in the store is soo disrespectful and Carries very bad attitude.Makes my ice cream soo bad .I visit store usually on Wednesday or Thursday and only she serves me as I could see no other people. I love cold stone !! But totally disappointed and ended up throwing it after spending almost $11 .
too many Flavors,i love banana caramel crunch and strawberry blonde .i don't remember her spelling Nikita the pretty girl in the store makes it the best with perfection.the last sunday evening she was handling the store all alone, i could see no other staff over there on such a busy day.she served all the customers without a break ,by carrying a great positive attitude. though they were short of waffle cones upon our request she made them for us .. Damnn she is amazing with great patience ,worked alone in place of 4-5 peoples. 5 stars only because of that pretty lady.
Staff was polite and ice cream was the usual Coldstone goodness!
Please please do not waste your time & money going to this location. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Coldstone brand so I drove 25 mins just for this. I walked in it smelled like urine, it was not clean at all, the cones were old (the clerk couldn’t remember when they were made), the ice cream was so bad that we spent $20 on ice cream, drove 25 min to get it & ended up throwing it out. It even made my friend sick. DO NOT GO HERE! Look at the photo. I’ve never saw a Coldstone look like that.
This for the location on Medlock bridge.Place was filthy. Glass, counter tops and worse the stone. Old dry ice cream drips everywhere. Crumbs of different stuff, fudge, and dust in corners. How long does it take ice cream to dry to clear sticky smudges? Apparently you can ask these employees as they watch it do that a lot.I can handle basic untidiness or dirty floors. It’s understandable in a high traffic ice cream business near a theatre. But this was grossI was also concerned when cream hit stone and it was drippy. Are they keeping it at the right temperature?teenagers working there didn’t work or care. (2 of the 3 giggled and ignored customers ). After ordering and looking at the dirty workspace I said no, I can’t eat food prepared on a filthy surface ( I know it may happen in many restaurants but shrug). At this point we left.Went to different ice cream shop and it was clean (some crumbs in the nitrogen bowl- which were wiped out while we waited). These teens were doing a great job. Really friendly.Suggest driving farther for your health.
