Tables are spot on. A trash can in the middle, perfect set up. Nothing worse than trying to find a place to put the shell. Food pictured shrimp rolls and Parm oysters. The rolls were good. Nothing special but appetizing. The oysters however terrible. To much cheese, no garlic flavor.
Service was terrible waiter was glued to his phone we sat there waiting for refills and for our bill until the other waiter got him he was sitting in back with his foot up. We almost has to walk up there to get his attention to pay our bill. The full broil only had 2 potatoes had 5 pieces of very slim sausage and barley and shrimp was just filled with crawfish. Was very disappointing
Got a lot of oysters on the special oyster day. Only like the raw oysters, they were big and fresh. Still keep that in mind. Wanna going back again.
We had the Vietnamese Com Ga that is also sold at this restaurant. Delicious!!!
I ordered $75.48 worth of food for my family on 1/16/22, online stated that the restaurant was opened so I ordered. Online order excepted my payment and took my money, I drove to the restaurant to pick up the food and the restaurant was closed. My money was refunded which takes 5-10 business days which left us with no food to eat. I waited the next day to speak to the restaurant manager for accommodations with food only to be told they can’t accommodate us with food. So I guess they think waiting 5-10 days for my money to feed my family is acceptable. Which is clearly wrong, and it was their fault, their online ordering process should’ve said unavailable upon my purchase. It was my last at the time to feed my family. Helping us out with food should’ve been the least they should’ve done, I’m a loyal customer that eat there all the time but now they’ve lost a loyal customer.
Location is clean. Fries limp. Ordered shrimp and tilapia. Tilapia was fried hard almost burnt. Shrimp was not highly seasoned. Taste bland as if the seasoned batter was old. The dipping sauce watery. Cocktail and tartar sauce watery also. Coke flat.
Arrived at 8:30 pm with a group of 3. Once an employee arrived at the hostess stand she told us it would be a 30-45 minute wait and then walked away without taking our names or putting us on a list. One person in our group had gone to the restroom when we arrived so we waited for her to come out and decide as a group if we were going to wait that long. Before she could come out another employee arrived at the hostess stand, asked for our party size, and told us it would be a 15-20 minute wait, he also did not write our name down prior to wandering off. The other member of our group came out and as we were telling her the various estimates for a table a third employee arrived at the hostess stand. She also inquired about our party size, we again said 3, and we were given a 20-30 minute wait time. She also did not take our name before walking away. My friends went to the bar to get a drink and I opted to wait by the hostess stand since even though we were the only group waiting for a table they had not written us down as being next for a table. Why are so many different people working the Hostess stand and why is there not a list?Turned out the wait for a table was less than 15 minutes and we were seated. While I understand this is a ‘Cajun’ restaurant you would think those that plan the menu would understand they may get customers that just want seafood but don’t want it spicy. That is not the case, every seafood item on the menu could only be served spicy as all of it is premade. I was left with chicken fried rice while my friends enjoyed several seafood dishes.

Having been to New Orleans makes me wonder why the decor and furniture arefrom pallets. There slogan is if it’s not spicy it’s not Cajun. I orderedthe shrimp PO boy and a pound of sausage in mild butter garlic sauce. The sausage dish by itself was good but as a Cajun dish NO. The sausagetasted like polish sausage and the garlic butter was too mild. I asked formild thinking Cajun spicy would be too spicy for me. Andouille sausage is served in many Cajun restaurants but obviously not here. The PO boy tasted likethose in New Orleans! It seems like the restaurant doubles as a Vietnamese restaurant.
I come for the rice with chicken which is only available here a few days a month. It was fantastic- chicken was sweet, matching with ginger fish sauce. And service was great though it was a litte crowded at the time.
