Abbotts was delicious! Honestly, we expected pub food and found hand breaded mushrooms, flavorful vegetables, chicken that could be cut with a butter knife, and melt in your mouth french dip au jus. Our server was Meg and she was patient and knowledgeable. The owner came and checked on us and was gracious and friendly. Try the Whiskey Sour-the drink menu is fantastic!
My friends and I have been going here for years BUT what happened? We had to search for a hostess to seat us. We should have left then. Martini was warm. What? Friends iced tea had a few cubes of ice. So called “famous” Gorgonzola salad was a gigantic plate of lettuce with not much else. Pathetic. The outside eating area was gross and looked like they were out of business on a beautiful day. Sad.
One of the best thaw palaces galavanting as a monastery light house, in lower slower. Plan a visit worth the wait.Good luck making eye contact.
The food was pretty good tonight Small portions on the fried mushrooms but other than that the French tip I had was amazing. Great twist on the au jus. And $2 beer specials are always a winner in my book.
This is a small business and the owners are gems. I had a few small events at their bar and grill. The wait staff is always accommodating and attentive. The food, drinks, and live music is the topping on the cake!
Hi there! We arrived at 5:45 and was drawn to tonight because of the "St. Paddy's Party" advertised. It took us 20 minutes to get our first drinks, 40 minutes to get an app--that was not what we ordered (yet eventually charged for anyway). At an hour, we got the correct app and had to ask to place our dinner order. I am honestly not sure who our waiter/waitress was because we had two different people helping. 15 minutes later, they came by to tell us it would be an hour to get the corned beef ON St. Patrick's Day and a well advertised "Special" (which was the whole reason we came) My wife ended up ordering the steak, and I had to get something different.Around 7:15 my order came. My wife had to wait another 10 min for her steak and cold potatoes. It was almost 45 minutes since we finished our food and no one came by to check in. We're so ready to go, the staff seems so stressed and have seen no less than 4 people walk by at least 5 times each and no one had bothered to check in.It's a bummer because tonight was supposed to be a celebration, but instead the staff seems stressed, our dinner took over two hours, and we are sad that we didn't get the festivities we came for.I felt so bad we had to ask someone who was not our server for help. Our poor waitress seemed overloaded with all the people in the section. When we finally got our check it was wing and we were over charged but we paid it just so we could leave.DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
I’ve been coming here on Tuesday’s for trivia and it’s been great. But since last Tuesday the price of sides went up $1. We ordered 3 sides, but they were charged separately. When I asked if it could be rung up under the 3/$9.99 “special” I saw online I was told the online menu was over two years old. But I pointed out that it was recently updated from $2.99 to $3.99 they said they couldn’t do anything. I’m left feeling confused. **updated picture from the website.
Drinks are delicious. Mine was purple and sparkly. Very fun staff and my dinner was amazing. Great live music too
Four of us went there for lunch on Saturday. We were the only guests in the restaurant. We all ordered hamburgers. The service was very slow and every one of the hamburgers was overcooked and dry and were cold. They didn't have any buns and had to serve the burgers on hoagie rolls. I was entertaining guests from out of town and took them there because we have always enjoyed our food in the past. We will give them another chance but this particular meal was a huge disappointment.
Open mic on Wednesday's is fun. A kaleidoscope of musicians ranging from angry/raw to beautifully melodic talent. I give the restaurant fare and service 5 stars for tasty, budget priced menu items and attentive service. Loved their fish tacos !
