New Jersey transplant here that has worked in a few pizzerias. I have also eaten at many of the best spots in New York, New Jersey and New Haven.2 NYers is a solid 4 stars specific to my taste. I liked the dough thickness, dough flavor, and quality of ingredients. Tasty sauce. The right amount of sauce too.Specific to my taste, the pizza had too much cheese and could have been cooked a bit longer to get some crunch on the crust. In their defense I did order for delivery and when I order from my go to pizzeria I always specify light cheese cooked well done. The other issue was one of my pizzas had a hole in it. Not the biggest deal but worth mentioning.Brief aside, I really appreciated the semolina flour on the bottom of the pizza...old school touch.This is a 4.2 for me.
Ordered a pie half meat lovers and half pepperoni, it was delicious! Crust was just right; not too crunchy, flavorful, and the toppings, cheese, and sauce altogether were the total package. They say its NY style, but it’s a better take on the original.
Great, quick pizza. From ordering took only 5-10 minutes to get our hot, fresh pizza. Crust was crispy yet doughy. Toppings were amazing; the ricotta was so fresh and creamy. Nice, casual atmosphere.
My new go to pizza place! Brick oven pizza done with skill. The right amount of ingredients that lets the crust shine. The quality of the ingredients also is evident from the first look and taste. The service was attentive and excellent. Offering dine in and take out along with a simple menu of wine and beer in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our favorite local pizza place! Consistent, immense flavor, Margherita pie is the best. Delicious.
Genuinely disappointed with my experience here. My fiance and I wanted to grab some pizza before going to the hockey game right up the road. We saw great reviews, and the pictures made it seem promising. Unfortunately what we ended up eating was not nearly worth the hype.We started off with the garlic bread and the cheesy bread. The cheese bread wasn't terrible, but it was basically just a mound of cheese on super thin dough. The garlic bread was inedible. It was just cooked dough with completely raw garlic (for those that don't know, raw garlic is very unpleasant).Then, we had a simple pepperoni pizza. It was average at best. Incredibly greasy, and there seemed to be no sauce. This was likely because of how liquid the sauce is. It was more like tomato water than a sauce.All in all, we were not impressed, and will likely not be back.
My family and I love this place. The people are great, and the food is fantastic! Highly recommend!
Best pizza! Hubby was very impressed with the food and people behind the counter were very friendly! Traveling from Florida back to Indiana and we will be back on our next trip.
