We stopped by on our way down to the beach due to a recommendation and man, oh man! We were not disappointed! Great southern soul food and excellent, personable service! Would recommended! (:
The food is okay. I don't like how the one server was in there talking about everybody. She was talking down on the cooks and the customers. I over heard her say my sister had been standing in line for over 30 minutes and didn't know what she wanted. This wasn't the case as she knew exactly what she wanted, and was patiently waiting for the server to stop gossiping with another customer and take her order. I just left without ordering and probably won't be returning. I don't need negativity or drama when I'm just trying to eat.
My family and I got a DELICIOUS meal at Paula's. We had collards, mac and cheese, dressing, potato salad, fried chicken, green beans, corn bread and various desserts. It was ALL seasoned perfectly...very flavorful! They were the BEST green beans and collards I've ever tasted! The cakes were moist and tasted homemade and the cobbler was excellent.
The food is always great!! The service is some of the best ever, always kind & orders always correct!!
My Mom loves Paula’s Fried Chicken she really enjoys their Turkey Wings,Collards,Yams,Butter Beans and Thin Corn Bread! I enjoy their Fried Chicken
I only rated it 4 stars because I couldn't eat everything I wanted because of my dietary restrictions. Want good ol country food this is the place to go.
