This was my first time eating there. It definitely lives up to the hype. The bbq is exceptional. They have won many bbq competitions and have the trophies on display. The seating and decor is rustic and beautiful. I had the hot mama sandwich, and it was on point!
Excellent find!!! Have had BBQ in many states and this has to be some of the best brisket I have ever had. Absolutely wonderful! No sauce required! Just good flavor!!! Coleslaw was super yummy too. Tastes like homemade that my Granny used to make! Hubby had chopped pork and chopped brisket. He thought they were both super yummy! He had the loaded potato salad and thought it was wonderful. Food was delicious, service was great, staff was friendly. Pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, and mac n cheese was over the top, off the chain, and out of this world. Will definitely go back.
I judged competition BBQ for 30 years and I judged Holy Smokes a few times. I know good BBQ and I know great BBQ.This isn’t good BBQ cause this is great BBQ.They have some of the best ribs I have ever eaten.The only problem I have with them is I live in Savannah and can’t stop in once a day
