First time visitor and I loved it. The early morning hot breakfast was great when you're on the road. The staff was the best. Thank you
Friendly fast service and great food
I can't wait until the Chapel Hill location opens back up, this WH is inconsistent. Today (3/19), all the food was cold, except for the eggs. They let the bacon just sit, so it was cold. I was never asked for a refill on my coffee, and never got the toast that came with my meal. It wasn't even that busy for a Saturday. This is also a manager training WH, according to our waitress. What a shame.
We came to dine in around 12 pm it was busy when we first arrived by the time we sat down the waitress came anf took our drink order and food order together after we recieved it she never came back and the rush had calmed down by now a gentlemen came to give us our ticket and we were all out of drinks my husband asked a different waitress since ours never came back or bothered to look up and see if we needed anything for a refill on for our sons drink and was told they dont do refills for kids drinks that was a first especially if we are dining in. Food was good service could be better.
Ordered a chop steak with out bacon, got a sandwich that had bacon & look like it was leftover from day before , my niece ask for waffles got them but didn't ask for walnuts in them . Staff pretty much fixing food you didn't want, store not clean ! Won't be eating there ever again!
Our server read our minds, was timely, and courteous. The food was great. If i am hungry and in the area I will go back.
I'm a fan of waffle house. So almost always enjoy my visit. But our server was SUPER SWEET! very satisfied with our visit.
Gotta love the waffle house. We've had nothing but excellent service and food at either Douglasville location. We visit both locations due to the amount of patrons so we try to get in and out so we try not to have to wait. Both locations are great for us.
I went in to place an order it took 45 minutes to just place a to go order. When it was ready I checked it and it was wrong and asked for it to be corrected the cashier was super rude but she fixed it however when we got the food home the hashbrowns and bowls were wrong and had stuff in them that we did not order. No one was able to eat it very disappointed with the attitudes when no one was being rude just wanted everything to be correct and done in a timely manner. We were there for an hour and 30 minutes to pick up an allstar, hashbrowns, two waffles and a hashbrown bowl.
Yesterday my sil and I thought we would get coffee and food there since she was already there and had ate i go in and order simple grits grill cheese and bacon, but a few people came in and the tall young black man with the dreads who was not our waitress came and started cleaning our table and hurrying us saying are you done yet i wasn't but i said no i need more coffee and the people that came in he said yall come down here i will wait on you. I have never been treated this way and i worked at waffle house a long time ago and I never hurry a customer he was ridiculous
