The Vine was a nice vintage yet chic place. I wasn't able to try the wine but the quinoa bowl was delicious. We added grilled chicken to the bowls which added additional flavor. This place got 4 stars because they are kinda slow, waited about 30 minutes before we got our food and it wasn't anyone in there. Other than that the food is a great place for a healthy option.
I loved my mid day experience at the Vine this week. I happened to walk in on their 5th year anniversary celebration. There was an awesome jazz player. The food is always delicious and the environment welcoming and family oriented. Definitely a hidden gem in the Douglasville area.
My husband and I had the impossible bowl and it was not what we expected. The rice and vegetables were hard. There was no seasoning in the food at all. The impossible meat looked like the burger patties chopped up. We expected a lot more flavor but it just didn’t give that. My daughter ordered the Turkey burger and she was upset with her burger because everything was wet. She could literally squeeze some kind of liquid out of her bread. Her burger was bland and tough. Literally every meal tonight was bad.
Another great find in Downtown Douglasville. We really stumbled upon it. We had a fantastic Sunday brunch; the French toast with chicken sausage and chicken and waffles were outstanding! They are not usually open on Sundays or Mondays, but are trying out Sunday brunch on occasional Sundays. You should definitely give them a try.(Picture is from when they were featured in Douglasville Sentinel, March 2022)
So glad we found this place! We all raved about our food! Everything was delicious - the pizza, chicken wings, chicken broccoli bowl, quinoa bowl and Friday fish special. Prices were very reasonable. The service was great too! Everyone was so friendly and nice and checked on us often. We really liked the ambience. Will definitely tell others about it and be back again when we are in town. Thank you for an amazing dinner!
We are vegan and was happy with our Impossible Korean Stir fry. It was very filling with a tag bit of spice not much. We returned the tha Thai Coconut Curry bowl because it was a liquidy soup with a scoop of rice. Looked good. The service is great. The staff is very nice and accommodating. We ordered to go but sat in to eat.Bonus is a black owned business which I love supporting.
This place is absolutely delicious!!!! And the owners I’m assuming were super friendly! Super place.
The food was epic and the customer service exceptional. Lots of flavorful vegetarian options!
Disappointed...my turkey burger was bland, had no tomatoes, no bacon and some sauce that I specifically asked to be put on the side..My boyfriend got the fish and wings and the fish taste like it was cooked in burnt grease. They ran out of fries so instead of asking what we wanted to substitute it with, they chose Cole slaw...everybody don’t eat cold slaw...oh, they also said they owe me free fries next time I purchase but they can keep them, I’m never purchasing again!
When they have the Vegan Pizza, it is good. Unfortunately, they don't have it often not sure if all of the ingredients are truly. I suggest not wasting your time until they get their act together.
