Theres usually something missing or not prepared right when I order TAKE OUT! Not here! They nailed it with some TOP NOTCH service! I was impressed that the Manager was right there along side the staff, assisting and helping customers with their orders! He made sure every item on the ticket was there and made to order, and everyone was happy! When he wasnt running food to tables or bagging TO GO orders, he was running the register taking orders when the line got long.Definately a well oiled machine they have there, Keep up the good job!Now, THE FOOD!! HOLY SMOKEHOUSE!!! Everything we ordered was amazing!! The taste was fresh and totally hit the spot for BBQ!! Funny we never tried this place before. But now that we know whats up, WE WILL BE BACK!! I recommend this place for casual and family dinning. The dinning room was clean and welcoming offering a cute ambience.
The people are really nice here. I had ordered some wings that were a little over salted. However, they were kind enough to replace it for something else. Over all the burger was great! And so was the peach cobbler ?? Good place.
Worst Shane’s I’ve ever been to. I usually go to Moreland Ave Shane’s or Roswell. These are the smallest tenders I’ve ever gotten. Not even fully tossed and my pick up order wasn’t on time. On top of it all this is the first time I was asked to show my order in app and show my name as if I was stealing food lmao. AND MY FRIES WERE COLD! Comedy and ridiculous. This is “Carlton” btw. I do not recommend the Douglasville location.
I really enjoy eating at Shane’s but today was crazy ..on my way home I called to place an order “ like always “ the young lady had me on hold for 20 mins never answered . so I arrived place my order and the phone is still on hold ..she looked @ the phone ..place me back on hold .. then hung up on me I said to her that was me ..she looked crazy.. omgNow I’m thinking do I really want to eat here!!!
Weekday late lunch, not busy. Sampler with chicken, grilled. Fried sides, came out hot and not greasy. Juicy meat pulls off the rib bone clean. Everything was great. Friendly staff. I don't leave reviews, but noticed one star reviews and thinking wth? But upon lookig at these Negative Nancys and Neds, they tend to leave mostly 1 and 3 star ratig. So here's a 5, exactly what one should expect from a BBQ restaurant.
Very small smoked wings. When the worker opened the container to show me the wings, she said, "they look so small in this big container". I should have asked for a refund then. They costed $12. Large peach cobbler not even filled up in the large container. The cobbler is the same amount as the medium. I should have opened the container. Such a rip off! Will not be back!!!
What an expensive disappointment. This food tastes like it is mass produced, shipped to store and reheated. There is no way any of this meat has been on a smoker or grill. The ribs were dry and tasteless, the chopped pork looks and tastes like canned meat, the chopped chicken looks like chunks of boiled chicken breast smothered in a heavy vinegar sauce. The green beans were as salty as the ocean and couldn't be eaten. The side salad was a joke, 98% romaine 2% iceberg, 10 little wilted romaine leaves with nasty looking tomatoes. I am amazed at the good reviews this place gets. I truly believe, anyone who likes these ribs, has never had a good rib. (Try Ribs Etc. on Rosewell Rd. or Greater Good BBQ, best BBQ in Georgia). We definitely will not be going back. I will say, the sweet tea and Texas toast were good.
I just wanted to take the time to express my gratitude to Mr. Robert (manager) for the help and much concern for me, as a customer!! I locked my keys in my car while stopping here for food. He allowed me to stay until help arrived and to use the work and his personal phone to my insurance company, for a locksmith.. even until after he had closed at 9:00 pm. My wallet was in car and provided me with food until I got my wallet. Speaking of the food, my fries were golden brown and hot, my “Big Dave” pork sandwich was huge on a buttery Texas toast and a cold Coke Cola. This was my second time ever eating at the company as a customer actually. I really see he’s a great man and manager; and humanitarian… thanks again Robert!!!NOT SPONSORED and honest review.
