This is maybe my fourth visit and I am beyond disappointed. I am not sure if it a staffing shortage or Sunday after church rush. We previously visited Milk and Honey on Cascade, but decide to come close to home Gritz. However, it was a disaster! I try hard to support my business in my town. We arrived at 1:10, table was ready at 1:50. Our food was not served until 3:10. I order the Fried Salmon and Gritz. Omg! My salmon was fried so hard I couldn't chew it. My server was great! The replacement plate was better but the serving was much smaller. Photos attached is my my previous visit, compared to this visit.

Where do I start! Where is the management for this establishment. First we walked up to staff smoking weed out back of the restaurant. Walked in to be added on the waitlist, hostess started to seat us then told us she skipped a few people and had to resend our table. Family of 6 asked not to be seated in the door way and she told us she had no where else to place us because the group that came in AFTER us needed the tables. Our server was knowledgeable but was neglectful the rest of our stay. SO MANY FLIES it was ridiculous. Our food came out cold and undercooked. But with no server checking on us we had to tell the food runner our order to get it all to the table and bring missing items, condiments and so forth. Fish and grits were missing sauce cold and grits where chunky . French toast was gooey cold and under cooked. Syrup was cold . Ga peach margarita was tasteless and taste of no spirits. Music is WAY TOO LOUD. Can’t even hear the people at your table . Do not recommend for family brunch

We were headed to another restaurant on the block when we saw this one and decided to stop in. I’m glad we did. I had a Bellini to start, and then ordered the salmon croquettes. Everything was really good. However, I would have traded my meal for my husband’s pork chops and soul food sides. He had macaroni & cheese, yams, and collard greens. It was definitely reminiscent of soul food Sundays at granny’s. I like the patio seating and the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely return for brunch or lunch when I’m in the area.

The food was good and the service was great!! They had a great selection of music playing very cool vibe

Mrs Kimberly Louis is wonderful! She helped me get my first profit . She made the entire process smooth and I felt completely supported after investing the minimum of $1000 she made over $10,500 for me in a week . I highly recommend her to anyone who’s planning on joining the crypto currency market . Contact her Email: [email protected] Or WhatsApp: +18605563122

Sadly the hype didn’t match the experience we had. Food was dry and flavorless. Our server was very sweet though!

An overall great experience. The food tasted great, with the exception of the grits, they were pretty pedestrian especially when compared to the description. The fried salmon was delicious. It was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and seasoned just right! I'll definitely order it again. My friend has the chicken and waffle. Which he thoroughly enjoyed. The biscuit was just okay, I expected more with the hungry glaze, but it didn't really add anything. The environment was awesome! It was inviting and familiar. Almost as if you were dining with family. Good food, good company and good service what more could you ask for? Better grits at a place called Gritz? Sure, but everything else easily trumps this one misstep. Go, eat and be amongst friends. I know I will when I'm in the area.

We finally made it to try Gritz and were definitely not disappointed. It was so yummy I didn’t even get a good picture before we dug in ? I had chicken and waffles. The chicken was so crispy and juicy. Frank had the seafood omelet. I thought he might lick the plate to get every last bit of Hollandaise sauce.

My daughter and I went for the 1st time yesterday. The atmosphere was cool. We both agreed the food was OK. The grits were really good, so the restaurant lives up to it's name. I had the Peach Cobbler French toast & the peaches were a little cold. I was expecting to have a more Bold, hot/warm flavor of peach cobbler. Didn't get that. My daughter's fried salmon was tasty. Something different. My margaritas was not the best. More than likely, will return to support the business & try something else. Hoping for a better experience with the food. We both expected a little more. I rate it a 3.5.

We ordered two pork chop plates to go. The food was good I love their biscuits. The pork chops were very big, but fatty.Update 3/22: We ordered take out again. The pork chops were still fatty but this time they were over cooked and under battered. Also our breakfast potatoes were burnt and unrecognizable(see pic). We also ordered the chicken and red velvet waffle and that was GREAT! It was actually the best red velvet waffle I have ever had, no syrup needed. The chicken wings and grits were also great.
