I'll be honest. I've had meals from this location several times since I was a kid. As a kid I'd eat out rarely. But my father liked this place. So we'd get a treat every once in awhile. And yes. I'm southern. So I like fried chicken. This place went from awesome. To mediocre. Then up to excellent! Hands down the best fried chicken. Ohhhh. And the fried okra is amazing
They had a sign on the drive thru speaker that said broken drive around but that wasn't true cause the car in front of me ordered at the speaker. Then I get to the window alot of what I wanted that didn't have or was discontinued but still had signs out then I get home only to find out they didn't get give me all my food I ordered. Also when I went to go into the store it said drive thru only but they have a woman sitting up at the counter eating. I don't think I will be going back.
We saw an Ad about Church s Spicy Chicken, which we thought could go Great with my Wife's DELICIOUS, near famous, Spaghetti. But they told us they did NOT have any Tenders or Spicy Chicken...So we went back to PopEyes who had BOTH. It turned out that the two Chicken Tenders I got from the Kroger Deli for $1.75 was far better than others for nearly 3x that $Price.
The worst chicken I every had was at Douglasville location. Don't eat from this location set at the window waiting for 15 minutes for them to come and get my money they never greeted me or did they apologize for taking so long they just kept looking at me look at them and when the person came to the window he said what did you order I had been at the window so long I forget what I order
This is the worst chicken place in Georgia.... The food is good if you can get it, but the service is bad.... Just bad. No matter what time is day it is they will be out of spicy chicken and well refuse to cook any. Even at 2pm... They close at 10pm and are out of chicken(their staple) in the afternoon.... Just bad. Was eventual told that they do not care what I want to order and made to wait 20 minutes to be told this tid bit of information. I don't mind waiting I do mine disrespect. It's crazy the way the manager handled this exchange before I even knew he was the manager... Avoid this place.
Food was good but the workers had a nasty attitude and didnt let us finish our order. If you dont like your job then quit. LOL no one told you to work there.
How y'all just going to charge me 35 cent for not using cash without telling me. Y'all done lost my business! That's not good business at all,stop using COVID to get over on people!!!
The chicken was light could have cooked longer. The mac and cheese was trash it was not good and had burnt area mixer in perhaps from the bottom of the pan. I truly can say I was disappointed I live state that does not have a churches. I was looking forward to it being good. I was in town during the Xmas holidays and has some from the same location, it was extremely good, which made me want it even more.
While ordering, we were asking a question. The gentleman (Hispanic, wearing a white uniform shirt) said “I hear you but I can’t talk right now” but then said “now, speak”. We left immediately. It’s okay to say “please hold” or “one sec please” Customer service - 0 stars
Church’s is my new fav! They have wonderful customer service and their spicy chicken beats out Popeyes hands down! Try their jalapeño peppers with your next meal. It’s an ole school classic that no one else has!!! Yum!!!
