My experience at China wok was amazing! The two girls up front were so nice and kind while helping me. Not only were the people helping nice but I love how the setup is like! It is so modern and unique. I also have to appreciate how they have so many different 2L sodas to choose from. Most stores don’t have this much variety. Overall I will definitely be coming back to this store for how amazing it is. AMAZING FOOD AS WELL! Highly recommend for any fan of Chinese food. The food hits another spot ?
Currently in search for a new Chinese place to look so I came here. When you first walk in the store still has Christmas decorations up and the menu pictures are in black and white. When placing the order a child under the age of 16 took the order. Which in return messed the order up. I paid $30 for a meal that didn’t even come with drinks. When waiting for our food after placing our order the child and her older sister wasn’t even providing great customer service. They rather discuss what seats they was going to get a concert. Going back and forth about the middle seats and back seats, if I was to answer this it’s the middle seats 3 seats to the middle of the section in my opinion…. But back to the review. When I got home the fried rice wasn’t even fried and my shrimp was missing and replaced with can chicken. Though I never had can chicken I think this is pretty darn close. The chicken was soggy in the general tso… which by the way the general tso chicken has two different prices and one can with the egg roll and rice which was the cheaper one… (strange)..: to wrap up this long disappointment … I will not be back. Save your money and go to arbor place food court !
This restaurant is amazing and I’m been coming for years. The people are always nice and work so hard. Plus they open for most holiday when most other places don’t. They are such hardworking people. RAISE THE ROOF ????
China Wok rocks-n egg-Rolls. Stores like these have been staples of shopping strips since the 80s and their history goes further back. Now this store in particular fits the mold. Decent food. Mostly fried choices. On good days can be delicious, on off days less so. But it being there keeps us returning for the occasional convenient something different. While not the best of these strip places I've seen you could certainly do worse.. Much much worse. Like a certain other place nearby.
Chicago native says this chinese food is A1. The general tso tofu is the best I have had down here.
Moved by Ridge Rd 4 1/2 yrs ago and tried Chinese Food places everywhere but here, until today. I give China Wok 5 stars all the way for their food and their service. I ordered their Orange chicken for myself, my husband got the Chicken vegetable and my daughter got the Curry chicken. They do not substitute their rice with the skinny noodles so we ordered the Beef Chai Mai and the Vegetable Chai Mai and it was so delicious. The freshness of the vegetables was a plus. I highly recommend China Wok.
Food is good they kids running register need an attitude adjustment. The older girl especially. Only gave it 5 stars because of the food. But last time the food was off also.
The food is excellent great size portions for what you pay and the service is awesome and friendly great place if you want good Chinese.
I bought dinner from this restaurant tonight. It was horrible. I use to eat here a lot years ago and the food was good, but not anymore. Out of my entire purchase, the fortune cookies was my only meal. The rest went in the trash. Never again.
Very good food and good value. We have enough for two meals.I found the girl receptionist to be friendly and mature beyond her years, and keeping her cool even while taking orders on Christmas Day. We returned a few days later.
