Seen this all over the place online, it's interesting! Way different than an American corn dog and more filling. With the sugar on top it's almost like eating a funnel cake! It's a cool experience to try it but the flavor is just okay
Not bad, but not my favorite Korean corn dog place. I got the potato mozz and they rely too heavily on the sauce-- the corn dog itself has no flavor. The honey mustard sauce is the way to go. They also encouraged me to dip it in sugar, saying it tasted better, but it was not a good move.
The server gave us suggestions and how she liked it and lemme tell y’all, it was not disappointing. The biggest fear i have of corn dogs is that the inner is not cooked wellEnough but this was just perfect. 11/10 this was perfect
I got the mozzarella dog and the cheddar cheese dog and both were good but the mozzarella dog was better. Only got one with sugar because I didn't know if I would like it and it was really good surprisingly with the mozzarella.
absolutely delicious!! i got a half and half which is half cheese half hot dog w/ sugar ketchup and mustard on top!! definitely recommend and service was really good as well! will come back when i go to hmart again!
This place is FOREVER having people lined up waiting for their order or to make more orders! The customer is really up beat and you can tell they are proud of their food. And they should be! When I go for lunch I come to work and just walk around to say hi to my coworkers so they can see my K-Dog. I love it when they ask what it is! The face expressions are priceless! Lol It never gets old. Now for you newbies this is NOT a corn dog. I know it looks like it. My favorites are The Cheddar dog and the Potatoe Mozzarella Dog. SO GOOD! Please try this now. I love this location because there are other amazing food places in the food court and around the plaza. I could live in this plaza seriously lol. I love the H Mart and just the plaza itself. Great atmosphere and very diverse! Go get a K-Dog!
Finally got to try korean hot dogs. We tried four of the nine dogs offered. The potato dog turned to be the best, crunch and hot. The other three -- cheese, rice cake, kind of touch and lacking flavor.
Had to try this place since I seen the line always is long. I've tried this place 3 times so far.The wait time for the food is usually 10-15 minutes on average because they make your food fresh. Which I appreciate fresh food. But this isn't the place to stop by if you're running low on time. Make at least 15-20 minutes on a not so busy weekday during the day and on 30-35 minutes on a busy weekend day to stop by and get an Oh Kay Dog etc. I tried their potato dog with hot melted mozzarella cheese in the middle ans potato and rice flour mixture on the outside, and I tried their regular mozza dog with the rice flour mixture on the outside and hot melted mozzarella cheese on the inside. Both are good. But I prefer the regular mozza dog the most.I've tried them both with the traditional sugar on the outside and also without and also with the parmesan cheese and garlic seasonings. They also have honey butter powder seasoning. It's all good. Not something you eat if you're trying to watch calories or if you are gluten intolerant. So be aware of this. It's called Korean Soul food. It's definitely guilty pleasure food that I like to get on the occasion when I stop through to shop at H Mart in the Doraville area. The people who work there are also nice. The customer service is good. Make sure to hold onto your receipt and number ticket so you'll know when the sign shows your number/hear them call your number.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was great, a unique experience for sure. Definitely recommend giving them a try. They're located in a food court like setting inside a grocery store.
I wanted to try this place out because the line was always so long and it seemed like everyone was loving it. Honestly, it was pretty good but the rice coating is a little thick and I would’ve been just as happy with a regular corn dog. It’s also a bit overpriced for a hotdog.
