Ordered take out and it was simple, fast and delicious! They are located in BuHi where the original Gu's was. If you order online for pickup, you will pay on arrival. Just select the "pay cash" option online to complete your order. They DO accept credit cards at the restaurant! Everything was ready to go when I arrived. No wait! We had the dry rice noodles with beef, pork dumplings with red chili oil (mild spice level) and pork dumplings with chicken soup. There were a LOT of dumplings in each and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mild spice level had a good kick but didn't make it difficult to eat! Will definitely order from here again!
Excellent consistent food. Well worth visiting multiple times
Our family favorite Szechuan food place. Long time patrons to restaurant since it was introduced to us. Operations is family owned so be patient. Good listing of food options ranging from mild to very spicy.
This food was incredible. We celebrated Chinese New Year with friends and tried 10+ dishes and everything was delicious.Try the fried eggplant, walnut shrimp, and the dumplings. We will be back!
Great food! They have a lot of different dishes. The crispy eggplant and map tofu are great! Cant wait to go back.
Delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Do you want a break from sugary, stereotypical, and overall bland flavors offered by most Chinese restaurants? Then give Good Luck a try. This is my new favorite *truly* family style traditional Chinese food spot. Everything was awesome! Bring 5-9 of your friends and order a table full of food to share. The dumplings are phenomenal, the broth aged just right, chicken cooked to the perfect balance of crisp and tender, and the noodles.. the noodles are fresh and made in-house.I simply cannot rave about this place enough. I will consistently drive an hour to have this food again.ETA: for the "foodie" reviewer who complains about short customer service:1- I didn't see any part of that2- If a restaurant's food is this good they can treat me however they want.
I have been missing authentic homestyle Chinese cooking since I stopped living in China. This place really hits the spot and it has all of my favorites.
Very good. Pleasantly surprised with the cold noodle dish with bean sprouts, cucumbers, & tofu underneath. Pork wontons with chicken broth was good. Preserved pork & bean curd stir fry was my favorite, very tasty. The fried fish was OK. The sautéed snow pea leaf was OK. Good portions.
An absolute gem! Fantastic food and super sweet service. Highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit of a challenge to find, tucked away in a corner of the shopping center. Well worth it. Go with a group and sit at a lazy Susan table and order everything. Chendu dumplings are incredible.
