Friendly and cozy environment.Food: 9/10 ( Salted and Pepper Squid, beef Rice noodles, and Black pepper steak)Cleanliness: 8.5/10Wait time for food (late Tuesday afternoon) was about 10-15 minsWould recommend and come back!!
It was nice. The food was good and the staff was helpful. The only thing ne hff ative I would say is that they put tape over all the prices on the menu so you didn't know what you were spending up front.
Great restaurant at a great price.Go here for authentic Chinese food and an authentic experience. Their rice pots amazing.
Service was ok and food was nothing more than ordinary Chinese food. I wouldn’t count the food as a “hole in the wall” restaurant but the interior is surprisingly nice. We ordered 4 dishes, but only 3 were pictured since the Peking duck came out towards the end. Vegetables were good and the S&S ribs were great but the noodles were overly greasy.
We hadn't been in 3 years...we wanted to just somehow never made it. It was just as amazing then as now. Go!!
Our 1st visit was excellent. The salt & pepper squid was so good, best we’ve had for a long time. The seafood tofu was on point. The wonton soup was good. We will definitely return to try other dishes. Good portions, reasonable prices, good service.
No great ambiance here but the food is excellent. The salt and pepper squid here is the best in the area.
Old school restaurant for whenever you want a no frills authentic Chinese food.
A lot of options, quite popular with the Asian folks. The beef chow fun is a bit burnt, the lobster is too salty. Everything else is pretty good. The chicken was especially good, very flavorful. And the tiny fishes are a bit under seasoned but I can see it potentially tasting very good, like the pepper salted squid. The first batch of rice was a bit dry. But the second one was good. It’s one of those places where if you’re Chinese and you have relatives coming, this is basically the go to. Every big city have a few places like this
I have been to here numerous times before, this is by far the worst time. I ordered 4 dishes, 2 came out, the other 2 didn't come out until I almost finished. The last 2 that came out, 1 was cold (the clams, I had to send back which they probably microwaved it for a minute and bring it back out), the Beijing style pork chop doesn't taste Beijing style pork chop, the sauce is like Chinese style steak and over sour. The first 2, the duck and the egg tofu casserole were ok. The quality is definitely not how it used to be. Maybe if I order simple stuff like Yangzhou fried rice, maybe the experience will be different? Just because the restaurant has a lot of people is not an excuse for quality of food. Please, get your quality of food consistent, room for improvement, I don't want to lose a supposed to be good Cantonese food place to go to.
