I drove 45 mins from Braselton to pick up food. I specifically told the lady over the phone for shrimp wonton NOODLE soup. When I got home I found this soup with only cabbage and few wontons. I called the restaurant and she admitted she didn’t get the order correct but absolutely nothing was donde about it. Not even an apology. $12 for cabbage and broth!
This place was terrible, not only was it outrageously priced but the food was terrible, it had no flavor, my husband had the hunan chicken and I had the chicken with garlic it tasted like they cooked them both the same and threw them on two different plates, then the rice, it was so dry we could tell this rice was old. The dumplings were spongy and also didn’t have flavor, we don’t go to Buford hwy often so when we do we try a new restaurant almost every time and we are excited about it, we were so mad this is what we got and so disappointed if I could give 0 stars I would!
This is the realest deal on Buford Highway, when it comes to Asian cuisine. The beef and bitter melon is a rare and *worthwhile* dish.
This is one of three MUST GO places of ours. We make the trek to Buford Hwy every month or two to stock up on groceries and eat our way through the day. If we don't sit down to eat here we usually take it home for dinner. Their crispy noodles w beef is the best anywhere in Georgia!! Best Bbq pork on Burford Hwy. We have been faithful patrons for 10+ years and will continue to eat at this delightful place!
If I can leave no stars I would. We did reservations for 18 people about a week ago over the phone. They did not let us know that that we couldn’t split checks. Their excuse was that they got new management. We tried to let them know that this was a dinner planned for valentines day and we are separate families. Bad customer service and we was there for just 10 minutes. BBQ Corner lost nearby customers.

I came by this place for dinner with my kids sizzling satay beef and it was awesome very flavorful this place is clean and refreshing my waitress was polite and attentive thank you for a great experience

It's kinda hard to give a review for this restaurant to Americans... This disheveled looking Corner restaurant is surely in a disheveled "corner" part of town where I'd like to think majority of Americans would not feel comfortable making a stop let alone stopping for a meal. Yes, it's a Buford highway part of Chamblee, GA, an ethnic town of mostly Chinese, Koreans, Vietnameses, etc. BBQ Corner restaurant seems to have been here at this corner from start --must have been at least 20 years with same owner or management. I have not been back for over 10 years due to living out of the state. Couple weekends ago, I stopped by with a mood for some authentic wonton noodle soup. Speaking of authentic Cantonese cuisine, BBQ Corner is only one of a few Chinese restaurants in the Atlanta area. (It can be so authentic that you can find duck feet at dim sum lunch, or steam sole fish with eyes and head on the plate...) BBQ Corner restaurant today looks much cleaner (esp. the man restroom) and brighter with renovation --still same kind of eating place, definitely not for dating or social ambiance. Staff is nice and welcoming, but won't wait on you hands 'n feet like American restaurants. I ordered my favorite wonton noodle soup and a 1/2 chicken baked with ginger and scallion onions... The soup was excellent esp. when your body doesn't wanna digest a heavy meal. The baked chicken with the specialty mix of oil and soy sauce on steamed white rice was delicious; and still quite a bit left over for a next day meal. All for about 30 bucks incl. a nice tip. Sure l would come back again...
This is the best Chinese Restaurant ever! The food is fresh and delicious. The service is excellent. It's worth the money.
