So the food was pretty good. No complaints there. But what threw me off was the fact that one of the servers left the serving line and chased a man outside (she called him a pitbull). I’m not sure if they were flirting or just playing… I don’t care. But why did she come back from chasing this man to the serving table and didn’t wash her hands?????? The parking is horrible. I would say call before you go, but I overheard people was trying to call and they weren’t answering.
I just want to come across some good soul food. I don’t know how to describe it but the food is flavorless and has a watered down bland flavor. The only thing that had flavor was the rice. Come on do better, like how can you mess up candied yams?! They taste like lemon. Very disappointed. Would have been even angrier if it was my money spent on this.
I am a picky eater and also not a meat eater, but the veggie plate I had was the absolute best. It definitely hit the spot. first visit and Stephanie was super nice and helped me with my choice of sides. I had collard greens, corn and Mac and cheese. I'm sure rhe key like cake is delicious. I will be coming back.
The potato salad was good but the collards had a strange taste and were greasy. All of the meat has a reddish color like BBQ sauce or something. All of it the porkchops, the Turkey wings the smothered chicken. The gravey even has a red hue. They must use the same seasoning for everything. Something red its not 5 stars. Maybe 5 for the customer service. The fried chicken wings are so little and are the cheapest wings you can possibly buy. They had that black meat inside. Wings are supposed to be white meat. Not these... just my opinion. At most a 3?
Nastiest soul food I ever had! Yams taste like lemon juice and greens taste like vinegar! The dressing was terrible and the turkey wings ok! Do not recommend at all! Negative 1 star
My husband and I wanted to some soul food. I found this place on Google. I'm so glad I did. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. We both were satisfied! The portion size is great too..
I drive pass this place on a regular but today I decided to stop for dinner so I picked a veggie plate because the meats look lik they had been sitting for a while The sweet potatoes tasted like they came out the can with very little sugar and hard, the Mac and cheese needed a little salt and pepper the collard greens was bitter and hard and tasted like vinegar, the black eye peas where hard & bland. Needless to say I only eat 1/2 the plate Outside of that The service was good & prices are fair….
Dinner was delicious. Food is fresh and not over-seasoned. COVID-19 safety protocol is in place. Lemonade is too sweet.
OMG! Southern cooking at its finest! My sister and I was looking for a good soul food place to eat at in Decatur. After a Google search, Who's got soul came up. So we decided to try it. When we saw the line outside, we said the food must be good! The place was clean, good customer service, no skimpy plates! Great prices too! I will be going back!!????
I'm disappointed. The yams aren't good, the mac n cheese tastes like meat and the chicken fingers are just...they look like processed chicken patties. I've had their food before and really liked it, but I would always get the fried shrimp and I should've just stuck with that. I don't even want any of this food I got today, but at least I know better for next time.
