I wish we took pictures to show how bad this place is. First, the entrance is through a water hole filled gravel parking lot. Leave your new kicks at home... they'll get ruined. You walk through a rusty gate on uneven pavement to the door the tilts up a poorly made concrete ramp. Inside, the place is complete dive and needs a serious cash infusion: mold and dirt packed on the ceiling; green mold growing on the planters as you enter, furniture from a fraternity yard sale. The waitress, Allie was very charming and a gem (the only reason this place got two stars). We ordered drinks, watermelon margaritas, which were the highlight of our visit. We also ordered a side of house yeast roles dipped in herb butter. We're pretty sure the roles came frozen from Costco. For dinner, we had their long menu items fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and collard greens and berries salad with salmon served on grits. Crazy small portions. The chicken was without a doubt under nourished. Tender but greasy. Potatoes and collard greens were so horrible that they just don't deserve further mention. The salad was tiny as was the salmon (1" wide!! sliver!). Hard to believe we paid $80 for this horrible meal. If this place is going to survive, they need to bring things up to current health codes and furnishing standards. If you're not going to remodel, at least provide somewhat of a meal!
I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Wahoo. They went above and beyond and it was absolutely perfect. The service, food and drinks are phenomenal. All of our guests are still talking about it. Wahoo was already one of our favorite places to eat and now it’s even more special.
Everything I ordered was fresh, the service was so nice and helpful with the menu etc, the ambience was relaxed and elegant for a date night..Its a joy to have such a gem in the neighborhood...Most definitely will be returning, next time I will be dining in. The lobster Bisque was amazing!

We first ate at Wahoo grill, shortly after it opened years ago....my husband's co-worker had a part-time gig there. Back then there was only inside seating. About a month ago (January), I celebrated a girlfriend's bday with 4 others, eating in the enclosed outdoor area (with some of the most powerful outdoor heaters I've ever experienced). The atmosphere was cozy, despite freezing temps and the redfish was absolutely delishous, as was the flourless cake. The hubby and I could not do our Valentines Day celebration until February 15, so w pleasant memories of our first visit, years ago, and my January 2022 visit, we booked Wahoo Grill to celebrate. It did not disappoint. As in January, Toni was our server and was very attentive and engaging. We had calamarie, crabcakes, salmon and halibut. All was the delish, although I found the halibut to be bland for my taste. There was no sangria on the bar menu, however the bartender did a fabulous job making a white sangria from scratch. We found Wahoo Grill to be as amazing in 2022 as it was when we first visited, many years ago.

After an absence of way-too-long we moved back to ATL and dined here, one of our favorites, hoping it hadn’t changed. No worries. It’s still wonderful. We dined on the garden patio - safe, distanced, and heated. I had a half farm salad which was superb with tasty vinaigrette, and the mountain trout with green beans. The trout was flaky and done just right. It was so fresh I’m sure it was caught straight from a Blue Ridge stream, perhaps by a bear. My wife had the crab bisque, which she raved about, and the shrimp & grits. Our meal was grand, as we remembered Wahoo from years ago. We were seated on time and service was attentive.
Very different from a lot of places in the area. It definitely has a bistro feel. My food was amazing, and our waiter was great. I'm horrible with names, but I think his is Chris. Check it out if you haven't yet. You won't be sorry.

The food was amazing it's very nice and comfortable I didn't stay very long I just ordered to go thank you for the great dinner I'll be back have a happy holiday and a Happy New Year!
