While we all understand being short staffed, scheduling issues, etc etc at no point should i walk into an establishment and see 4 employees, 2 of which are on their phones, and be told “you got to wait for us to take your order”. There are 4 able body humans that should be able to make a simple order. Everyone should be cross trained to work every station to prepare food, clean front and back of house, as well as take and call orders. There were enough people there to be open full service let alone simply take my order. They could have said they were doing to go orders or locked the doors all together with a sign up stating the time they would open to be able to serve guests. The service here is extremely inconsistent and is a case of people at work not wanting to work and being lazy. Even when they do service people you can guarantee that something on your order will be missing or wrong which is baffling considering they are never busy because you never know to what capacity or if they will be open. Don’t waste your time going to this location. Pick another where the service is consistent and the workers actually want to work.

This past Tuesday I went to waffle house on Columbia dr around 9 45 am. The girl taking order at the register was SO NASTY ! SHE WAS GIVING ME ATTITUDE SINCE I WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR. WHILE TAKING MY ORDER SHE WAS RUDE AND VERY AGGRESSIVE. WHEN I WENT TO PAY FOR MY ORDER SHE SNATCHED MY CARD OUT MY HAND AND WHEN IT WAS TIME TO RECEIVE MY CARD BACK SHE THREW IT ON THE COUNTER ALONG WITH THE RECEIPT. I DID NOT REACT I WENT TO MY CAR AND SAT FOR 20 MINS. I REALIZED DUE TO HER ACTIONS I DID NOT WANT ANY FOOD FROM THERE EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR IT. JUST HER BEING RUDE AND NASTY FOR NO REASON I DONT KNOW IF SHE WAS GOING TO SPIT IN MY FOOD OR ANYTHING I DONT KNOW BUT I DIDNT TAKE THAT CHANCE SO I LEFT AND MY ORDER WAS PAID FOR. THIS LADY HAD BLACK BRAIDS IN HER HEAD PULLED INTO A PONYTAIL. I REPORTED THE CHARGE AND WILL BE REPORTING HER! CANNOT BELIEVE THE SERVICE I RECEIVED.

The Worst! They Do Online Orders Charge Your Card And When You Show Up They Are Clueless About Your Order! Then When You Ask To Place It Over They say Oh We Can’t The Grill Not In Place! So CLOSE If You Gonna Throw Away People Food You Charged Them For! The Most UnOrganized Waffle House In The Area! They Are There For Socializing Not Customer Service!

Dont go to this place the manger was very rude and refused to serve me because I asked for a take out tray instead of eatting inside

This was my first time trying this waffle house but husband and I always wanted to come to this one because the appearance is cleaner than most waffle houses on Memorial. So we took a 15min trip passing 3 waffle houses just for this location and they did not disappoint! The lady who waited on us (I did not catch her name) was really nice and patient with us, we received our food faster than we would have dined in elsewhere. And the food was SO good you could slap the chef! My burger melted in my mouth with every bite, it was juicy and flavorful. My husband loved his melt and the hash browns were cooked to perfection. Perhaps we came on a good day but we definitely will be back to this location!

Our waiter was great she was very nice and had our food in no time

Martin the cook at the waffle House on Columbia drive very professional he cooks as a five-star chef. I appreciate his loyalty and dedication and to serving professional food I have not yet had any bad service from Martin Great job Great job. I told the manager about Martin and they all agreed that he's a great Employee. If you want great food go when Martin is there.

The service was good and the food was good as well and it didn't take them a long time they're pretty fast
