This is basically a family staple for us. Unfortunately our regular location wasn't open we had to try this one.Great as usual

Good food, clean place, and friendly, prompt service. My father-in-law is at an assisted living place nearby and we bring him to this location all the time for lunch.

The people where a joy to have breakfast with. They seam to enjoy there job. And made us happy to be there. We will visit them again.

The Waffle House on E. College Avenue in Avondale Estates was the fourth Waffle House my husband and I went to last night. The reason is because the two Waffle House locations on Memorial Drive, and the location on Columbia and Memorial all refused to take our order due to a shift change. We were told that we would have to wait for the next shift to arrive and place our order with the incoming shift. Big problem because nobody from the next shift had arrived to work yet! The E. College Avenue location lost a star because they didn't give us our complete order that we paid for. The sausage was missing. We didn't realize it until after we got home.
Friendly staff, a clean space and decent, cheap breakfast food! The retro feel is a pleasant one, and the place has more heart than McDonald's and the like. This one of the many W.H.s is great for the late - nite munchies. I will be back.
Always excellent food and excellent service here. Can be packed with a line due to how good the place is.
