My first time ever going here but the food was fairly good. They offer a main food item, 2 sides, dessert, and a drink. Even tho you can make everything they have at home, you can honestly do that with every restaurant you go to. ?A little suggestion for this restaurant is to have a little more decoration. Ngl the visual is slightly boring and I like to feel comfortable when eating. But then again it's not my restaurant so even though it was a little boring for me to eat there some people might actually like it. In the end overall my food was good and now I'm stuffed.?

Not a big fan of leaving poor reviews, but I was really disappointed. Should have known when it was deserted in the middle of the lunch rush.Really expensive for steam table buffet, especially when they don’t even have unsweet tea and carry only Pepsi products. Not particularly considerate staff and Restaurant needed Maintinence attention from managementThe fact they had a security guard at lunch probably should have been the warning I paid attention to.Going to the jail to visit a client, he probably ate better than I did.

I regret not cooking everytime.. they forgot my cornbread... Chicken was good.. but that slab of ribs .. was seasoned good and put in the oven no effort..like a smoker or grill was used.. for the price I expected more. Remember I'm a chef as well.. perfect place for those who don't cook.

I ate here often when I lived in Stone Mountain. I moved away several years ago. I must say that the Rib Tips are still amazing and I still can't eat them all in one sitting. I did notice that the prices in general are higher. It could have just been an off day but the staff wasn't very friendly. It was a different vibe than I remembered.

Drinks do not come with these expensive plates. So not only are you spending $40 for two dinners, you have to pay extra to wash it down. The string beans are definitely straight out of the can. The Mac n cheese has changed, it’s not melted throughout, it’s just noodles with hard clumps of cheese on top. They literally give you small, ice cream scoop, spoon fulls of the sides but charge almost $20 for a piece of meat but again NO DRINK unless you pay extra. Been there more than once, because I believe in supporting black owned but the food caliber has gone down. And don’t get me started on them dry cornbread muffins, that you can’t wash down because the drinks aren’t included… dreadful

Do not eat here. They gave me undone food. The turkey was red and rubbery still because it was uncooked. They have a no refund policy hidden on the wall to the side so that u can't get your money back. I was told it was done when it's not and to call corporate who do not pick up calls. Run now, save yourself. Went here for the 1st time. Will never return.

I arrived shortly after they opened. The bbq wings were ok, the flavor and freshness were not that great,. The sides of cabbage and yams were just ok. Although the employees give good customer service and look nice, the food is overpriced for what you get and the quality of it. I think this establishment needs to offer a higher quality of food to justify charging these ridiculous prices.

I wouldn't say the best soul food around, and I would encourage you to try local places that are not a chain to support them. However, I have to say the food here exceeded my expectations for being a chain. The collard greens were on point. The fried fish was pretty good. I guess the value in this place is that it's convenient, fast and consistent amongst its various shops. Nonetheless, I would go to my usual hole in the wall neighborhood soul food place.

Mr.Greg and Mr.Wheels took care of me. I originally made an order for Decatur location but they had to close early due to short staffed. Which I completely understand because my retail store is the same way. He called me to make it up to me and said I could pick up the food at the Panola Road location. The staff was great there, mr.wheel took care of me there. So did Greg. Thank you gentlemen for helping me out , will definitely be going back to both locations! Food was great !

This is my go to soul food restaurant. They have a variety of dishes that are packed full of flavor. I usually get the grilled salmon w/ sassy rice, Mac n cheese, green beans, and Texas toast. If you come here for lunch, they give you so much that you can split it into two meals! If you’re in the area and your soul food cravings are high, this is a must to try!
