They got amazing wings here!!! Service is super friendly. During the day you can enter from the front entrance. At night, the restaurant closes but the bar is open thru the back entrance. Bartender is not the quickest and will give an attitude but it’s not too bad. Worth it for the cheap drinks

The food was pricey but delicious. I was looking for a good oyster po boy sandwich ($13.99- 6 inch, hush puppies $4.49) and I found one! My husband got the jambalaya ($10.99) and fries ($2.49). He said it was the best meal he received in a while. The bourbon bread pudding ($4.99) was yummy! Our meals only came with one tray and I had to eat my meal on my wrapped paper. The whole meal with tip was $54.37 (see picture). The place has outside and basement seating. The basement was dimly lit and cool. Be sure to hold on to the rails when walking down the stairs. There was a big bar and lots of TVs. They had pools tables, darts and gaming machines. Eventhough it was expensive, I would definitely come back for a meal.

The top is for take out and to go only but the basement bar was lit! Zoa was my bartender and she was so helpful and I appreciate that kind of service late night. Had the hurricane and a po boy with half catfish and half shrimp. Def a good vibe and food!

Some of the best jambalaya and shrimp po’ boy I’ve ever had! Really cool ambience. The basement has an awesome bar and a live stream of New Orleans!

Great service! I ordered the shrimp po boy. It was delicious. My husband had the crawfish one and my son, the crystal chicken. The food is seasoned well and I even liked the thin fries. They were good too. Next time I'll have some drinks in the basement. That appears to be where it is happening.

No way you guys got that many stars. My lady bought this for me for lunch bc I like po boys. First problem is this thing is $18 with NO FRIES AND NO DRINK…. Inflation must be starting here first. Secondly, the catfish po boy was so so bland. It just tasted like mush combined with whatever Mayo they use. Which brings me to my third issue, it was so mushy and soggy... unfortunately my ol lady got 2 of these bad boys. Daggum

Upstairs is a small restaurant with some of the best sandwiches and appetizers in GA.Downstairs is a HUGE space with pool tables, ski-ball, darts and seating galore. The bar looks like it's been there for ages, but it's somewhat newly built. Bartenders are friendly and a ton of fun.We worked in the area for a while and visited this place daily.I cannot recommend this place enough!

I ate here a couple weeks ago. Although the food was tasty, I spent $30 on one piece of catfish (1 filet), 5 pieces of shrimp (5 ounces according to them), 3 hush puppies (they were delightful), and condiment size cup of coleslaw (which was nasty). I also had the shrimp chowder which was very good and for $6 it came in one of those small white styrofoam cups. I gave them 3 stars because of the flavoring but I felt cheated out of food.

This was my first time eating at The Po' Boy Shop. The food was amazing. The fried shrimp was excellent and so was the fried fish and the ceasar salad. Everything was great. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff were also amazing. I highly recommend this place.

The Po Boy shop is the place to be! I wish i lived closer so i could frequent more often. Authentic and delicious New Orleans cookin’ right off Clairmont.
