I have been getting my super tasty tacos from Taqueria El Vecino for two years now. Somebody here has exquisite taste in designing tacos, figuring out what unexpected combination of flavors make for a party in your mouth! But I also wanted to sing the Praises of this place for their friendliness and kindness. I try to order from them on Taco Tuesday every week, but it's usually just before closing time because I can't call them until my kids are asleep. Nearly every week they are kind enough to take my order. Today, after an unbearably difficult day in with my son had surgery, I made my usual weekly call but they had just closed their kitchen. Nevertheless, when I explained the situation to their owner, they went out of their way to make us tacos anyway.If this combination of kindness, customer service, and unfailingly delicious food that brings me back every week to our favorite local taco establishment!
Since the management decided to leave a snarky reply, I'll happily change my rating from 2 stars to 1. I originally gave them the courtesy of a 2 star review because my first two visits were okay (not great), but the 3rd visit was miserable. I DID mention the problems on the third visit to a manager and he brushed me off. Didn't care. And as you can see from their reply, management is rude.
Delicious food. Loved the taco selection. I tried the carne asada, the el pastor and one that had chorizo and steak. All were delicious.They have a side salad that was the bomb! So many flavors!
I love this place. Their margaritas are always really delicious and great for the price of a pitcher. The meat that goes into their burritos is always perfectly cooked making them some of the best burritos I've had. The staff are always nice and I've had several really cool conversations sitting at the bar. The neighborhood seems to like this place too so nights can be a bit crowded but the daytime is always super chill. Highly recommend if you want a casual spot for some Mexican food with a southern bbq twist.
Amazing local Mexican eats and drinks. They have their own smoker - pulled pork and other meats for tacos and burritos are amazing. Great place!
Food was not tht great and it was really over priced. Like really really over priced. The rice/beans had no seasoning at all. For tht matter my tacos has no seasoning either. Super super bland. Then they charged a extra 8 dollars for a temp surcharge. Drinks were on sale only plus side. Won’t be coming back for food

Got some food to go, it was my first time trying Taqueria El Vecino. Paid almost 50$ for a burrito and 4 tacos. Food was quite frankly disgusting, no flavor, burrito mojado tasted like it was covered in sour cream and tomato sauce. The shrimp in the fried shrimp tacos was trash. This didn't even stand next to good Mexican food and I definitely will not be coming back.
