Taqueria Del Sol is a nice little restaurant that has a different kind of set up. You get in line, order tour meal and drinks then find a table. The servers find you. How they find you, I don't know but they find you.The food tasted good and it was prepared quickly. I forget to take pictures when our food arrived: sorry!We ordered the 3 salsas and chips. The salsa Verde was very good: bright. The other two were fine but could have been a little more spicy. I ordered 2 Enchiladas: one pork one chicken. Both were tasty. The jalapeno Cole slaw was FIRE!The parking lot was nearly full but we were able to find a space.Don't let the long line fool you, it moves real fast
Cannot get enough of this place. Friendly staff makes me feel like a regular even though I haven't been in as often as I would like. And with great, covered, outdoor seating, it's the perfect spot to dine out safely. Love me some Taqueria del Sol!
The tacos and enchilada were delicious. Great margaritas too! Although you wait in line to order, the food comes out super quick. Recommend!
The most delicious queso ever. I don't like the line to get food, but it's always worth it once my order arrives to the table. Veggie bean tacos are amazing. Verde sauce is extra fire, so stay away if you are sensitive to heat. Staff is always super helpful and nice.
I really wanted to like this place. Found a small rock in my taco. Told a staff member, and they told me that sometimes there are stones that come with the beans and they don't always get washed out. Uh, ok I guess. Never offered to refund it or bring me a new one or bring something else. Other staff members were very rude about bringing more chips, and my friend and I were being watched as pressure to move so they could clear our table. Even though the food was affordable, the whole experience and taste was really not worth it. Will not be coming here again.
I love that we get to sit outside no matter the time of year and weather. The good and service were excellent as always. The shrimp chowder was so flavorful but super spicy and didn’t have a single shrimp. I still enjoyed it. The tacos were good as always.
I passed the Chamblee location last week. I remember seeing this restaurant come up when I searched best chicken in Atlanta. So I went to the Decatur location which is real close to me passed my mom residence. This restaurant is off Commerce on West Ponce. I got a chicken taco or flour and one on corn. Both are delicious ? I think ? the corn is my favorite. I got to get 2 of each next visit to make sure. I got a fish taco which is delicious ? with the tartar sauce and jalapeño pepper. I got a brisket taco also which is flavorful and juicy.
I recommend this place for anyone. Reallygoog food. You can seat at the bar as well and eat different tacos. They do have all kinds of beers. I Will visit again.
