Very overprice and taste even worst!! I paid $21 dollars for 2 oxtails and 1/2 of spoon of rice. I wouldn’t mind if the food was tasty but it wasn’t! First and last time visiting here!
Supposedly Ordered jollof rice, plantain and beef. Got this ? paid total $22 for this! Utterly disappointed. What is this orange side rice mixture? Guess they call that “jollof”? And what’s this serving size? And,, where’s the plantain??? Would never recommend - no value for your money.
Edible but mediocre. I ordered from here because they have “Mac and cheese casserole” so I thought it was going to be baked, thick, cheesy goodness… it was watery, and unseasoned. Savory turkey wing was not cooked to perfection, very fatty with little meat. No gravy, and the rice underneath it was also unseasoned and wet. Wet with what? Because it wasn’t gravy ? Collard greens were good, but that’s easy to cook
My go to place for Soulfood. Good portion, variety & consistent. My fav are baked chicken, mixed vegetables & collard greens. Yummy!
This soul food establishment offers the Best food there is ...The Town just Raves about it .. I had the pleasure of having an Oxtail Meal that came with Yams and Greens my preference however they offer an Array of dishes from Smother Turkey Wings Dressing Mac & Cheese Lima Beans Ribs Catfish Fried Chicken and this is just to name a few... so if your in the mood to have your Soul filled with a home cooking experience that would make u wanna slap yo momma ... Boom ?--- This is it!!!! Oh and I came all the way from Bmore to get my Fix!!!! Thanks you sooo much! The Staff makes you feel right at home for a good Ole Sunday Dinner Anyday!

Food was unseasoned we got the veggie plate it was all not very great besides the yams. Some of it was fine but the majority was pretty bad. Even though we got a veggie plate the rice had meat in it and tasted meaty. Would not go again but food wasn't awful. (Don't get rice, green beans, or corn cabbage)We had a coupon which made the meal cost 5$ but food was also pretty pricey
Love this place. The food is amazing. It reminds me of my great granny and her hugs. If you have time to go, you should. You will NOT be disappointed. From the baked and fried chicken, to the turkey wings, gravy and rice, to the greens, mac and cheese and dressing, neck bones and ox tails. It has all been great!!!! Getting hungry as I type about it. Talk Of the Town is the talk of the town!!!!
I ordered from this spot through grub hub…I didn’t like it at all. It came cold…that’s fine I didn’t bother warming it up either bc it was nasty. It’s like the only seasonings they know was salt n sugar. I ordered the 2pc white….they didn’t give me the rice it should’ve came with…the chicken was dry as hell NO flavor but salt…greens…no flavor at all…Mac n chz…disappointing…no flavor. Actually it tasted like whatever pan it was baked in or something. But I ended up dropping the small cup on the floor n wasn’t even mad. Wasn’t good. The sweet potatoes were mashed and soupy and way too sweet. They didn’t have the peach cobbler I asked for but it prolly would’ve been nasty too.
