The proprietor was present on my visit and if you know Trini ppls, she is just like you expect, cheerful, inviting, pleasant, nice and willing to please As a vegan, I got in on the veggies, calaloo, beige limas, curried chickpea w/potato n squash. Most definitely pleased. You might want 2get sum of deh house made cucumber n ginger drink. The best. Good eats.
I have never went an order ox tails and got this!! No rice and peas!! Three ox tails on a bed of Nothing but paid 30 dollars!! Yea rip off will never eat here again!! Golden Krust forever a customer
Step by Step Catering was a fantastic investment for us not just in terms of food but also of trust, care, and community. They really dug in deep to provide more than just a meal. They provided a feeling of home and family despite the diverse definitions of those words held by our guests and ourselves.Given the immense emphasis that our Italian and Indian backgrounds place on food being a part of experience, we had especially high expectations of the meals, presentation, and overall presence from Vanessa and her team. They did not disappoint!! You can see on their faces and by their actions that they cared just as much about everyone as we did. Seeing them in action arose a jealousy in us wishing we had the ability to connect with total strangers in a way that felt like you were going to their warm and welcoming homes for a home cooked meal.For everything, we say thank you, thank you, thank you! We couldn't have asked for better friends and partners to help us make memories that would live in the hearts and minds of our guests and ourselves for a lifetime. I hope it goes without saying, that in the case that you find yourself looking for a real family to extend their love and craft to you, your family, and guests you can find it with Vanessa and her "work" family.
It was my 1st time here today. I was greeted when I entered. The lady who prepared my order was pleasant. The food was all covered and appeared to be hot(bc I saw stem).I ordered the jerk chicken lunch combo (1 meat, rice, and 1 veggie). The food was pretty good. It wasn't great (imo). I like my rice to have more coconut flavor and I like for the skin of my chicken to be crispy.I never saw oxtail be priced as high as they were here, but the food is okay.
I received poor customer from this establishment. I placed an order for 15 people and paid for delivery. Around 4:30 pm, I contacted the restaurant to ask what time was my delivery. I was told that they didn't have a driver and that my order was for pick-up. I replied no. I paid for delivery. However, I will come pick up my food. Upon my arrival, I asked if I could receive 15 paper plates. I was told "that was not included in your order." It's interesting that she could read my invoice and tell me what I didn't order but failed to read "delivery" that was also on that sheet for which I paid. One would think that they could sacrifice 15 plates considering I had to pick up my order because she failed to read that I paid for delivery. I was told that they were busy. I was also told that I would receive my reimbursement. After a week, I contacted theestablishment to check on the status of my reimbursement and was told they have been busy for the holidays and that I needed to send them an email with the invoice number to reimburse me. The professionalism was poor.
This is small but great ? food ? best made just for you with a touch of love ? worth trying

We are very lucky to have such a delicious place so close from our home. The food is really tasty. I don't think I can go anywhere else to have Jamaican food. I will give 10 ⭐ if I could. I will be back soon for more.
Sunday,Bridal Shower buffet was beautiful! The food was delicious with a cheerful staff!Everything was on point. Ms Venessa is so gracious and professional. She even met with me for an on-site pre visit at the venue.
