Scout is a gem!! I love having brunch here in this historic building. It’s beautiful ambiance make it a great place for all occasions. The patios are spacious, and give the restaurant a different feel. My family and I enjoy ordering the pretzel bites that every time we go, we order two! I do have to mention how delicious their regular cup of coffee is.I’ve tried several food items on their brunch menu and can honestly say they have something for every body. My 8YO loves their French toast(I mean how can you NOT when they give you a good bit of challah bread?! ?)I highly recommend this place for early morning dates, family brunch, a friend meet up or just a place to wander around. It’s located on a very walkable area that is often busy.
The food was mediocre and the service was super slow. Maybe I’m too good a cook, but what I had I could’ve made better looking and tastier for a fraction of the cost. The arugula was wilted and yellowing, the toast wasn’t enough… It’s not like it’s awful, but I wouldn’t return.
It was great! Will be back soon.
Overall it was quite lovely. We had a couple things which were over cooked or over spiced but everything else for our party of 6 was delicious and the staff were wonderfully accommodating.
Had some family and friends in town. Asked a friend for a good brunch place and she recommended Scout. It was well worth it. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the service was awesome.
My wife and I both enjoyed the yellowtail snapper complemented by the flourless chocolate cake topped with strawberries and blueberries. The service is spot on and the entries emerged super quick. We were dining al fresco and there's not a better deck to eat on in the mild months than Scout's...the trees with their nightlife, looking toward Oakhurst Park, just an easy quiet place to sip wine and enjoy a pleasant summer evening!
I am surprized that I was able to get a reservation Sunday afternoon, made Sunday morning. The service was great, Jebbah was pleasant, professional and attentive. The food was good as always. I was finally able to have the salmon burger. The last few times I was there, they were sold out. It was amazing, everything!

We had wonderful cocktails and the shrimp dip, beet salad, and entrees were great. Relatively affordable for such good food.
