My first and last time visiting. I'm in search of some good Chinese food and this definitely not it.. Don't stop because food is horrible ? I ordered house lo mein(greasy), honey lemon chicken(wasn't fully done)shrimp fried rice(plain white rice with shrimp) sliced lamb(definitely not lamb)and egg rolls (mushy). I don't know if they were short of staff or not, but the food they prepared for me was unacceptable. I paid 70.00 for China cafeteria quality food.
Called to order from Lunch PDF, which states soup included, wonton $0.95 extra. Lady on phone, "All soup $0.95" extra - when stated that is not what online reflects, "I never had a problem, do you want it or not?" As a veteran of the food and beverage community - I have no problem paying for what is printed properly. Yet, when you don't - why get in an attitude? Update the PDF and also Lunch online ordering menu as my coworker states is all incorrect with pricing and what is included with each entrée. You would feel the same if you went to a business that did not have correct pricing.
Horrible! They’re out of everything! I couldn’t get any service because is was only one server and she had to do the front and take Togo orders as well. The fried rice was steamed rice with peas. No seasoning! No soy sauce! No flavor! And when I asked about it when I got my plate they said thats the way they cook it!!!
So yummy! Soup dumplings, cold sesame noodles, Shrimp dumplings and green tea ice cream. Excellent!!
We had a wonderful time, as always. The midi Wasabi scallops were amazing!
We love the Ho!!My wife and I come here at least once a week and it’s always good. This isn’t some chain-style Chinese restaurant. This is a family business operating in Decatur in the same spot since something like 1979. They make everything by hand and they are good at it, specializing in Northern Chinese. The owner likes to challenge himself too and will mix cuisines if you would like. I asked if he could do lasagna dumplings and he said of course he could. Give him some notice and see what he can do for you just for fun. Cant go wrong on the menu either.Good wine and beer selections. They can also mix you up a cocktail or two.Give the Ho a try!
Made a take out order, and when it was time to pick up, i waited at the front for 5min for someone to come help me. And when the lady came she didnt even greet me. She walk straight to the tablet and mess with it for a few minutes before asking if i was being help.Food was good but a little pricey for its portion.
Customer service was awful.. as I walked in she quickly step out of the cahs register.. the after waited for 8 min upon her return, she told me they don't accept credit card for payment. I did not have a chance to speak nor even order. Seem that she was having an issue with me being a different race. I would suggest anyone going there to be aware of the type of service you will receive.
1st time & I won't be returning as the restaurant is more than dated, they are following no cleanliness practices as well as the food is not of a good quality for the price it didn't seem to be cooked fresh the one positive was the mango green tea.
Some of the best Chinese food I have had. The beef ribs are incredible, as is most of the food. The twice cooked pork belly is something you have to try, it is an incredible dish and a way that I have never had Pork Belly.
